So happy to meet you.
I'm Florence Lamouret and it's a pleasure for me to share with you the stories I like.
This is a story of two different sisters.
Gaia,
The smallest one,
Was very open to others.
She was curious.
She liked to meet,
Discover the thoughts and the meaning that each of us gave to life.
She never really knew what was wrong or right in her choice.
She sought the truth of the moment with more or less success.
The older one,
Jane,
Was very thoughtful.
As she distrusted others,
She analyzed them.
Her sentences were colorful.
She was always critical of what she saw and couldn't help but make nasty remarks.
She played at asking them tricky questions to see how they would come out.
The mother cherished the oldest one who succeeded very well in understanding her.
She regularly disputed the smallest who was never where she wanted.
The smallest one was too unpredictable.
So to make the little one grow and gain maturity,
In short,
To have her feet on the ground,
She had the food cooked,
The kitchen,
The laundry,
The house cleaned every day.
The father didn't want any conflict.
Then he didn't say anything.
Besides,
I don't know how to tell you what he thought of this situation.
He wanted to do work in the other houses and did not in his own.
As the well was clogged and the father said he had no time to clean it,
The little one had to fetch water from the fountain every day.
At that time,
You surely knew there was no washing machine,
And the woman and only them went to wash the clothes at the fountain.
It was heavy and painful,
But since it was useful,
Woman and Gaia did it daily.
One time,
A poor woman was by the fountain.
She asked Gaia for water,
Explaining that she had nothing to collect it,
And she was very,
Very thirsty.
The woman obviously smelled bad.
She didn't have a house and didn't wash herself.
Gaia drew water from the best place of the fountain and made sure that the poor woman could drink easily.
Of course,
Gaia was bothered by the smell of the woman.
She was afraid that she would spoil the cup.
And you surely knew how people of hard work,
Gaia,
Had thought that she could clean the cup,
Or even that she could give it to the oldest lady.
Gaia decided to do it,
Thinking that her mother would get angry,
And that was the best way,
As it is.
Before drinking,
The old woman with the pestilential smell looked very directly at Gaia.
Then she drank in one go.
The poor woman flew away and became a little fairy with wings.
She had disgusted herself as a woman from the village.
What amazement!
Gaia was speechless.
The old lady turned very twirled around Gaia and said,
Your heart is pure.
I like the way you look at the world and people.
I will give you a talent.
A talent you will use as you see fit.
Every time you touch your nose while speaking,
Your words will turn into diamonds.
Gaia laughed and went home.
Since she was very late,
Her mother scolded her.
It's always the same with you.
You talk to everyone and you don't focus on what you have to do.
Since that's it,
I'm punishing you to teach you the respect,
To teach you to respect priorities.
You won't get off of the day.
Gaia told her mother about the old woman while touching her nose.
I'll let you imagine the astonishment of the mother when she saw the precious stones coming out of her mouth.
The mother punished Gaia by wanting Jane to have the same benefit.
She sent Jane to the fountain with the instruction to give a drink with honesty to the poor woman and came and asked,
You don't want water,
Do you?
She hoped by speaking this way,
She would quickly unmask Ferry.
Indeed,
Jane had no desire to discuss with women she didn't know.
And then this woman doing the laundry was not interesting in her eyes.
She said,
Your work is so stupid.
Who wants water?
A princess appeared asking for a drink.
Jane analyzed her and told herself that she was going to waste her time.
She pushed her away,
Telling her that she had nothing for her and she was in a hurry.
She had an important mission to fulfill.
Just wait for your return to your castle where you can drink your fill.
The princess flew away and Ferry appears.
The fairy said,
Your head is eaten by calculation.
Your heart is dried,
Incapable to see the beauty of mankind.
You are always criticizing the other rather than asking what they want.
I'm going to put a spell on you.
Every word you say will come out of your mouth as a snake.
And Jane was incapable of transforming her anger.
She spoke,
Shouted,
Exulted.
And as a result,
Bigger and bigger snakes came out of her mouth.
The mother was so furious of the result,
She blamed her youngest daughter.
Gaia escaped into the forest.
And more and more snakes ended up eating the mother and the daughter.
The moral of this story is that we can choose our words.
Do we choose words to become diamonds for the other one?
Or do we choose words or snakes for the other one and ourself?
From the deepest of my heart,
I wish you to find diamonds.
See you soon.
