Hello and welcome to your meditation with me today.
My name is Kumbi and I'll be guiding you through a process called calling in the light.
This meditation can serve you during difficult and stressful times,
Especially if there is a specific personal issue that you are being challenged by.
You can practice the same meditation every day or maybe just once,
But it is essentially to be used as a reminder that sometimes all we need to do,
All we can do,
Is surrender.
Surrender the issue.
So let's begin,
Find a comfortable seat,
Sit up nice and tall,
Feel your spine lengthen from the crown of your head to the base of your spine.
Close your eyes and take a few deep,
Slow,
Calming,
Cleansing breaths.
Feel your entire body.
Your mind and your heart begin to relax.
Now bring your hands in front of you and turn the palms up like you're about to receive something.
Place the awareness of an issue,
A situation,
A problem,
A challenge,
Or emotion into your palms like an offering,
As if it's resting there like an object.
Feel the vibration of the issue,
Situation,
Problem,
Or emotion in your body.
Really feel it as if you are one with it.
Feel the culmination of it in the palms of your hands,
The weight,
The feeling,
The energy of it in your hands.
Now visualize a spark.
A ray,
A wave of light coming into your palms,
Filling up your palms,
Your hands,
And eventually your arms,
Chest,
Body,
And face.
Turn your face up to receive the light.
Lift your palms up to receive the light.
Everything becoming lighter and brighter,
Visually lighter,
Physically lighter,
Less weight in your body,
Less weight in your palms.
Receive the light.
Bask in the light.
Surrender to the light.
Receive the light.
Slowly draw your palms into your chest,
Into your heart,
Absorbing even more light energy.
Feel it penetrate you and fill you up from the inside.
Realize the whole inside of your body,
Light,
Bright,
And glowing.
Bring your palms together.
Bow your head with gratitude and repeat thank you to yourself three times.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Whenever you're ready,
You can slowly come back.
Hold this feeling within you.
Observe how your tone and energy have shifted.
You are now set up for a wonderful day.
