The theme for the meditation practice today is gratitude.
So let's begin.
You can do this sitting up or lying down.
Just get yourself into a nice comfortable position where your jaw and your shoulders are nice and relaxed.
And you can close your eyes and take a deep breath.
Deep breathing,
Relaxing every single part of your body.
Sitting present and open to the moment.
Breathing out anything heavy in your mind.
Begin by visualizing a sunrise in the distant horizon.
Envision the colors,
The sense of expansiveness,
The calm and peace.
The graceful slow rising of a golden orange sphere of energy and fire.
The sun that gives us light,
Warmth,
Life.
Imagine the glow of light and warmth reaching your face.
As you receive this with gratitude and appreciation for the new day ahead.
Now imagine a warm cup of coffee or tea in the palms of your hands.
Feel the warmth of the cup.
Watch the steam.
Bringing this to your lips and sipping in the warm liquid and feeling the warmth funnel down into your belly.
Feeling a sense of gratitude for this liquid peace,
A moment of calm that comes with it and an appreciation for your ability to be able to feel,
Sense,
Sip and swallow.
Now moving into your day,
Visualize the places you'll go,
The people you will interact with,
The moments alone.
Can you see yourself gliding through these moments,
These interactions with an underlying sense of appreciation for them?
Warm eye contact,
An encouraging word,
A genuine compliment,
A moment of understanding.
Imagine flowing through your day,
Carrying with you a genuine attitude of gratitude for all the connections,
Assistance,
Synergy,
Energy and synchronicities that you were involved in,
Presented with and opening up to noticing.
Now visualize the face of someone you truly appreciate and love,
Holding this face in your hands close to you,
Looking into their eyes and without saying anything,
Without a word,
Just expressing through your eyes and face and vibration,
Communicating non-verbally how much you behold their amazingness,
Their preciousness,
Their uniqueness,
How much they mean to you,
How much you love them,
Admire them,
Cherish them and hold them in the highest light.
In Oil Now imagine the sunset at the end of the day,
Being in a place where you can watch the sun lower,
Its glowing golden sphere sinking into the horizon gracefully,
Peacefully,
Allowing the brightness of its power and energy to wane and rest,
While the sky,
Blue sky,
Fills with hues of pink,
Lavender,
Gold,
And orange in the most unique and magnificent display of a passing moment,
A light and color show,
Seemingly just for you.
Gratitude,
Appreciation,
Fill up your awareness,
Consciousness,
And being.
To be alive here now,
With breath,
Senses,
An amazing physical body that beats and circulates and breathes and releases and digests and heals and balances and creates.
We are miraculous beings made up of the stuff of stars.
Every one of us in the cosmic perspective precious in a hundred billion galaxies,
You will not find another.
