Hello,

And welcome to your guided meditation with me today,

Kumbi.

This meditation today is entitled,

Courage.

And I'd like to begin with a quote from American author,

Glennon Doyle.

I see your pain and it's big,

I also see your courage and it's bigger.

You can do hard things.

I recently also came across a wonderful writer,

Adrian Michael Green,

Who wrote what this next meditation will be about.

It's just an expanded and guided embodied version of what he created.

To begin,

Let's start in a comfortable position.

You can be lying down or seated.

Just make sure you feel relaxed.

Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths.

Through the nose and out the mouth a few times.

And then eventually through the nose only.

Feel your entire body,

Your entire being relaxed and released as we contemplate the following.

The six types of courage and corresponding mantra by Adrian Michael.

One,

Moral courage.

Do the right thing.

Two,

Emotional courage.

Heal your wounds.

Three,

Spiritual courage.

Trust the process.

Four,

Physical courage.

Brave the unknown.

Five,

Social courage.

Be your authentic self.

And six,

Intellectual courage.

Learn and unlearn.

Which type of courage do you need right now?

Which mantra do you need?

Do the right thing.

Heal your wounds.

Trust the process.

Brave the unknown.

Be your authentic self.

Learn and unlearn.

Silently say it to yourself.

Repeat it over and over in your head while you visualize what it looks like for you to insert your mantra here.

Do the right thing.

Heal your wounds.

Trust the process.

Brave the unknown.

Be your authentic self.

Learn and unlearn.

Repeat your mantra over and over in your head while you visualize what it looks like for you.

What does it look like?

What do you look like?

What does it feel like?

Visualize it.

Repeat it.

Feel it.

Allow it.

Embody it.

Amen.
