We will start the meditation with a brief grounding practice,
And then we'll move on to affirmations to help you begin your day.
Take a moment to silently or aloud repeat each affirmation.
Following every affirmation,
There will be a visualization to enrich your practice.
Please find a comfortable position,
Either sitting up or lying down,
Whatever is available to you in this moment.
Allow your eyes to gently close,
And take a deep breath in.
Feeling the air fill your lungs,
Exhale slowly,
Releasing any tension.
Now allow your breath to find its natural rhythm.
We will begin by grounding ourselves in the present moment.
Feel the connection between your body and the earth.
Imagine roots extending from your body into the ground,
Anchoring you firmly.
It's like the roots are intertwining with the soil,
Drawing nourishment and stability to support you.
As you breathe deeply,
Visualize the energy of the earth flowing up through these roots and into your body,
Filling you with a sense of calm and strength.
Rest here for a moment,
Embracing this grounding practice as a way to establish a firm foundation from which to navigate the challenges and experiences of life.
We will now begin our affirmation practice.
I am grounded and centered.
I am connected to the earth in the present moment.
Visualize a warm golden light surrounding you.
This light represents peace and balance.
As you breathe in,
Imagine this light filling your body,
Bringing warmth and calmness.
I am filled with peace and tranquility.
I embrace the calm within me.
Focus on your heart center.
Feel the gentle rhythm of your heartbeat.
With each beat,
Imagine waves of love and compassion radiating outward.
I am a source of love and compassion.
I share my light with the world.
Shift your attention to your mind.
Acknowledge any thoughts that arise without judgment.
Let them pass like clouds in the sky,
Returning your focus to your breath.
I am mindful and present.
I release what no longer serves me.
Take a moment to set an intention for your day.
What qualities do you wish to embody?
What goals do you want to achieve?
Hold this intention in your mind and heart.
I am capable and resilient.
I move through my day with grace and ease.
Visualize yourself standing tall and gracefully moving through any situation you encounter with a sense of empathy and understanding toward yourself and others.
Gently bring your awareness back to your surroundings.
You may deepen your breath and bring small movements to your fingers and toes.
When you are ready,
You may open your eyes.
Take a final deep breath in and exhale fully.
Relax your shoulders and feel the tension melting away from your body.
Allow the calmness to fill your mind as you prepare to embrace the rest of your day.
