Join Kirsten on this magical journey throughout the past year. Take a moment to look back with gratitude. Clear any negative energy that you picked up the past year, and look at all the good things that happened. Look back at the lovely moments, the things you’ve learned, and set powerful intentions for the new year. (This is a recording of a live meditation with Koshi & Zaphir chimes.)

Make sure that you are comfortable,

So that you can really relax.

Maybe you want to lie down on your bed or on the sofa.

Maybe you want to sit down.

Do what feels right for you.

And make sure that you can relax and enjoy this special meditation.

And maybe feel into your position and see if you can change just a little bit.

Sometimes a small change can make a big difference and can help you relax even more.

And now you focus on your breathing for a moment.

Just observe the air flowing in and out of your body.

Observe without judgments.

Just becoming aware of how you are breathing.

Are you breathing quickly or slowly?

Are you breathing towards your belly?

Or does your breath stay high up in your chest?

Now if you notice that you are breathing a little quickly,

Or that your breath stays high in your chest,

You can place your hand or both hands on your belly to help you slow down your breathing and to breathe deeper into your belly.

Breathe deeply and slowly,

Allowing your body to relax more and more with every breath you take.

And then you imagine that you are walking in the forest.

You feel your feet touch the soft ground and you see the sunshine shining through the leaves and the branches,

Giving the forest a magical look.

You smell that earthy scent of the forest and you look around at the beautiful trees surrounding you and you notice that the forest looks magical.

Not only because of the sunlight shining through the leaves and the branches,

But something about this forest is magical.

And just walk here very slowly,

Really slowing down.

You're not in a hurry,

So try to walk a little slower if you can.

Often we go so much faster than we think,

Rushing through our days.

But you don't have to rush through this meditation.

So walk as slowly as you can and then a little bit slower.

And keep walking,

Really feeling your feet touch that soft,

Soft ground of the forest and feel that calming,

Healing energy of the trees surrounding you,

Helping you to feel calmer,

Helping you to feel a little more relaxed,

A little more in this moment.

And then you stand still for a moment.

Feel your feet on the ground and from your feet roots grow into the earth.

Thick,

Strong roots from your feet growing into the earth,

Deeper and deeper,

Until they reach the center of the earth.

And now through these roots that are connecting you with Mother Earth,

You are going to let go of any energies that you picked up today,

Or maybe yesterday if this is your morning.

Anything that you picked up from others,

Anything that is not yours,

It flows through these roots into the earth,

Where it's transformed into pure positive energy.

So don't worry that you are giving negative energy to the earth,

Because the earth knows what to do with all that energy.

Anything that is not yours,

That you picked up today or yesterday,

Flows through these roots into the earth.

And then you are going to let go of anything from this week,

Whatever you picked up from other people,

From places you've been to,

Anything that is not yours,

Flowing through your roots into the earth.

And then anything from the past month,

Anything you picked up from other people,

From places you've been to,

Anything that is not yours,

Flows through your roots into the earth.

Anything from the past month,

Whatever it is that you can let go of,

You are letting go of,

Whether you know what it is or not.

And then you are letting go of anything from the past year,

Anything that is not yours,

Anything that you picked up from other people,

From places you've been to,

From things that happened.

And maybe you feel it flow into the earth through your roots.

Maybe you see it as a flow of energy or a color,

Or maybe you're not aware of it at all.

Just know that it's happening.

And if there's anything in particular from last year that you would like to let go of,

You can set that intention and visualize it flowing into the earth through your roots.

These thick,

Strong roots that are connecting you to the center of the earth.

And also anything from the past year that is yours,

But that is not serving you anymore.

It's flowing into the earth because you don't need it anymore.

Maybe it served you the past year,

And maybe it's not serving you anymore.

It's okay to let go of things,

Even if they are from ourself.

If it's not serving you anymore,

It's okay to let go.

And this is the perfect time to let it go.

And also any stress or tension from the past year is flowing out of your body,

Out of your energy,

Into the earth through your roots.

Just breathe deeply and slowly.

Feel your feet on the soft ground of the forest.

Feel the sunshine on your face,

Shining through the leaves and the branches.

And then you take a deep breath in and slowly breathe out.

And then you start walking again in this beautiful,

Magical forest.

Walking as slowly as you can,

And maybe even slower.

Breathing deeply and slowly.

And then on the ground you notice a basket.

It's filled with notes.

Some are rolled up,

Some are folded.

Different kind of papers,

Different colors.

And one of these messages is drawing your attention.

And you take that message out of the basket.

And when you hold it in your hand,

You feel a special energy coming from this piece of paper.

And you can now open it.

You unfold it,

Maybe you roll it open.

And in it is a message for you about what went well the past year.

Maybe you see the message as a word.

As a drawing,

As a picture.

Maybe you see moving images.

This is your journey.

And you experience this in your own unique way.

Maybe you don't even see it on the paper,

But maybe you just suddenly remember something special.

Something that went really well this year.

Sometimes when we look back at our day,

At the week,

At the month,

Or the past year,

We tend to look at the negative things.

We tend to look at what didn't go well.

We often forget to look at what did go well.

And there's always something to be found that went well.

And I'm sure that over the past year,

Many things went well.

And maybe you see different messages,

Different things on this piece of paper.

And I want you to bask in that energy for a moment.

Remembering that which went so well.

Enjoying the feeling of things going so well.

Maybe remembering different moments.

Breathe deeply and slowly.

And then you take that piece of paper with you.

Maybe in your pocket.

Maybe you have a bag.

However you want to take it with you.

You take it with you.

And then you start walking again.

Maybe still remembering that which went so well the past year.

Maybe you have a smile on your face as you continue walking through this magical forest.

Walking very,

Very slowly.

Maybe you're eager to discover what else you'll find in this forest.

But walking faster won't get you there faster.

So slow down and enjoy the magical energy of this forest.

And look at the trees around you.

What do they look like?

And what else do you see when you look around in this forest?

And also feel how your feet touch that soft ground.

Walking on the leaves that are lying on the ground.

And enjoy that earthy scent of the forest.

Smelling the trees,

The ground,

The leaves on the ground.

Feeling the sunshine shining on your face.

Maybe feeling the warmth of the sunshine.

And then you find another basket.

And this one is filled with flowers.

And you can grab the basket and hold the basket in your hands.

And when you hold it,

You feel a magical flow of energy flowing through your body.

These flowers have healing energy.

And in this basket,

There are different flowers.

Different colors,

Different sizes.

And this combination of flowers is sending you a little bit of healing.

Exactly what you need in this moment.

Bringing healing and relaxation.

Feel that energy flow through your body and feel how you relax a little more.

Maybe you feel your shoulders relax and your neck.

Maybe there are other parts of your body that you feel relax.

A little extra relaxation for you as a gift from these flowers.

And then you notice that one of the flowers is drawing your attention.

You put the basket on the ground and you take that one flower.

And when you hold that flower,

You feel an even stronger flow of magical energy flow through you.

And you know this flower is here for you.

And this flower is here for you with a reason.

It is helping you to feel a feeling about the past year.

A positive feeling.

And just breathe and feel what feeling do you feel flowing through your body.

What feeling comes from your flower.

And no matter what you experienced the past year,

No matter maybe how difficult the year was,

This flower is helping you to look back with a positive feeling.

Maybe it's just a little bit positive.

Maybe it's super positive.

It's all okay.

And there is no wrong way to do this.

And if you find it difficult to know what it is that you are feeling,

Just be open to discovering it and be open to feeling positive about the past year.

Maybe you have some resistance.

It's time to let that go and to look back with a little bit of positivity.

And breathe deeply and slowly and feel the energy of your flower about the past year.

And then you take that flower with you,

Maybe putting it in your hair,

Maybe in your pocket or your bag,

And you continue walking.

Feeling your feet touch the soft ground of the forest.

Feeling that sunshine shining on your face,

Shining through the leaves and the branches.

And you feel that the sunshine helps you relax a little bit more.

Maybe you're starting to yawn,

Which is a sign that you are letting go,

That you are relaxing.

Maybe letting go of resistance.

And feel your feet touch that soft ground of the forest as you walk here.

As slowly as you can.

Still,

Not rushing.

There is no need to.

Be in this moment,

In this beautiful forest,

Enjoying this magical journey through the past year.

And then you find another basket on the ground.

And this one is filled with books.

Small books,

Big books,

Different colors,

Different sizes.

And one book is drawing your attention.

And maybe it's a big one,

Maybe it's a small one,

But it doesn't say anything about you or the message it has.

So grab the book that is drawing your attention.

And this book is here to remind you of something that you learned in the past year.

Maybe you want to open the book at a random page.

Maybe the title already tells you everything.

Maybe you'll read the back of the book,

Do what you feel called to do,

And look back at that which you learned this year.

And maybe there's more than one thing that you learned something.

No matter how big or how small,

It is important.

And you can be proud.

You can be proud that you learned something and you are always learning.

And often we forget to look at that.

Or we think it's not important,

But it is.

And it is amazing.

And I want you to feel proud of yourself.

You are allowed to be proud of yourself.

And also,

You are allowed to share with others that you are proud of yourself.

That's not bragging.

It's amazing if you can feel proud of yourself.

Proud of what you've learned,

Proud of what you've accomplished.

And maybe you want to really remember what it felt like to learn this.

Maybe you look back with mixed feelings about what you learned.

Know that it's all okay and it's all allowed to be there.

Maybe you learned to take better care of yourself.

Maybe you went through something hard and learned something about yourself.

Going through that.

Be proud.

You've made it through.

You've made it through that year and you are now in the new year.

And yes,

You learned something,

Probably more than one,

In the past year.

And as you hold this book,

Remember,

I want you to take a deep breath in and slowly breathe out.

And then you take the book with you as you continue walking.

Feeling your feet touch the soft ground of the forest.

Breathing deeply and slowly,

Smelling that earthy scent of the forest,

Feeling the sunshine on your face.

And with you,

You are carrying that note that reminded you of what went well in the past year.

Your flower that helped you look back with a positive feeling.

And your book that reminded you of what you learned the past year.

And then you find another basket.

And this one is filled with little gifts,

Different colors,

Different sizes,

Different shapes.

And one little gift is drawing your attention.

Of course,

You take it out of the basket and you feel that special energy come from it.

And ooh,

So exciting,

What's inside this gift?

So go ahead and open it.

And in it,

You will find something that reminds you of something from the past year that you are really grateful for.

And so maybe it's something or maybe it's a picture.

Maybe you see images as you open the present.

You are looking at one of the biggest gifts from the past year,

Something that you are incredibly grateful for.

Maybe it's something amazing that you experienced.

Maybe a wonderful person you met.

Maybe it's your amazing house.

No matter how big or small,

Whatever it is that you are so grateful for in the past year,

Your greatest gift is being shown to you in this gift,

In this present.

So enjoy this feeling of gratitude.

Let it flow through your body and breathe deeply and slowly,

Feeling your feet on the forest ground,

Remembering that amazing moment or moments,

Thinking of that special person.

Or maybe it's your pets or whatever it is.

I can't fill it in because you know it.

I'd like you to really let this energy flow through you,

Through your body,

Through your energy,

This amazing energy of gratitude,

So magical.

And take a deep breath in and slowly breathe out as you continue walking in this beautiful,

Magical forest.

Walking as slowly as you can,

Feeling your feet touch that soft ground,

Seeing the amazing,

Magical trees around you and feeling their calming energy.

And these beautiful trees are supporting you on this journey,

On this magical journey through the past year,

And then you find another basket.

And in this one,

There are crystals in different sizes,

Different shapes,

Different colors.

I'd like to invite you to hold that basket for a moment and feel the magical energy that's coming from the crystals and let this healing energy flow through you.

Maybe you feel a tingling sensation flow through you.

Maybe you see energy or colors and just breathe deeply and slowly and feel your feet on that soft forest ground as you hold this basket with these magical crystals,

Sending their healing energy to you,

Bringing a little bit more relaxation,

A little bit healing for whatever it is that you need healing for in this moment.

And breathe deeply and slowly.

And then you notice that one of the crystals is drawing your attention.

So you put the basket down and you grab that one crystal,

You take it out of the basket.

And when you hold it,

You feel a strong,

Strong rush of energy flow through you,

A little extra healing from this crystal,

From your crystal.

And when you look at the crystal,

You see a word appear on the crystal.

This is your word for the new year.

And if you don't see the word,

Maybe you hear it in your head or with your ears.

And if you don't see,

Feel or hear it,

Maybe you know it.

But if not,

Know that it will come later.

Just enjoy the energy of this crystal.

And if you know your word,

What does it feel like?

What would it feel like to experience or feel this in this new year?

This is your word for this year,

For the new year,

As an intention.

A word that you can take with you into the new year.

A word that can help you to,

Maybe sometimes helping you make decisions,

Reminding you of what is important for you this year.

A beautiful,

Positive word for you,

For this beautiful new year.

And you take that beautiful crystal with you as you continue walking.

Maybe you put the crystal in your bag,

Maybe in your pocket.

And as you walk,

You feel your feet touch the ground and you smell that earthy scent of the forest.

You feel the sunshine shining on you through the leaves and the branches.

And then you arrive at an open space,

Beautiful open space,

With in the middle a beautiful bonfire.

You walk towards the fire and you feel the warmth.

And then you notice a desk and a chair.

And on that desk you see a piece of paper and a pen or a pencil.

And I would like you to sit down for a moment and on that piece of paper,

Write or draw your intentions,

Wishes or goals for this new year.

Maybe you just want to write down a couple of words.

Maybe you want to write a little story.

Maybe you want to make drawings.

It will take a little bit of time to do this,

But don't overthink it.

Now you're going to finish what you were writing or drawing.

And if you haven't completely finished yet,

Don't worry,

Because your intentions are known.

Even if you haven't put everything on the paper yet,

Your intentions are there.

And then you take that piece of paper in your hand and you feel that energy of that which you would like to feel,

Experience or achieve this year.

And you take that piece of paper to the fire and you throw it into the fire.

And this is a magical fire.

And as the fire burns your piece of paper with your intentions,

Dreams,

Goals,

It adds extra magic to your dreams,

To your goals,

To your intentions.

As your paper with all this,

What you wrote or have drawn on the paper,

Everything that's being burned,

It's being sent out into the universe so that the universe can take care of it.

And you see sparkles as it burns,

Magical sparkles.

And as you stand there in the warmth of the fire,

You feel the energy of your intentions,

Your dreams,

Your wishes,

Your goals.

And for a moment you can feel what it would be like if that all came true this year.

And feel that for a moment,

For a short moment,

Feel what that would feel like,

What it would be like.

May you see what it would look like.

Maybe the fire even gives you images of you having achieved that,

Having made your dreams,

Your wishes come true.

And then it's time to leave this open space and this bonfire behind you and to walk through the forest again.

Maybe you're still glowing from the warmth of the fire and of having felt what it would be like to make all these things come true this year.

Maybe as you continue walking,

You have this big smile on your face.

Maybe you can even feel gratitude for what is to come.

And as you walk very slowly,

You hear the sound of water,

Water flowing.

And then you notice a little creek.

And the water looks so inviting that you decide to take off your shoes and your socks and you stand in the water.

And as you stand in the water,

You feel the water flow over your feet,

Around your ankles.

And you feel the freshness of the water.

You feel that fresh energy.

And it's so refreshing after that lovely warmth of the fire.

And it's so refreshing after having made this beautiful walk through this magical forest,

This magical journey through the past year.

And anything that you are still carrying with you from the past year that is not serving you anymore is being cleared and cleansed by the energy of this water.

So just stand here with your feet in the water and enjoy this freshness.

Enjoy this fresh energy.

And it's refreshing your whole energy,

Refreshing the energy around you.

And refreshing energies flowing through your body,

Bringing a little bit more healing and relaxation wherever it's needed in your body,

Wherever it's needed in your energy.

Just feel that refreshing flow of energy flow through your body.

And slowly you are being filled with amazing positive energy.

And as you are being filled more and more with this positive energy,

With this amazing refreshing and healing energy,

You feel that you can look back at the past year with positivity,

With a positive feeling,

Feeling more and more positive,

Maybe even feeling grateful.

It's helping you to look back with gratitude,

Maybe even with love.

It helps you to look forward to what this new year will bring.

Looking forward with a positive feeling,

Looking forward with a feeling of trust.

Trust that the new year can bring you good things,

That it can bring you amazing moments,

That it can bring you loving moments,

That it will bring you things to be grateful for,

Moments to be grateful for.

Maybe it will bring you new people into your life,

New friends,

New lovers.

Whatever it is,

There is something good for you this year.

A lot of good.

And with that flow of positive feeling and energy flowing through you,

You step out of the water and you walk a little further through the forest,

Feeling refreshed from the water,

Feeling positive about the past year and about the year to come.

And you notice that you reach the end of the forest and you walk out of the forest into an open field,

Leaving the forest behind you,

Leaving the past year behind you.

And stand still for a moment and think about what you just experienced.

Think about the things that you're carrying with you,

The message,

With a reminder of what went well in the past year,

A flower with a feeling about the past year,

A book as a reminder of what you learned in the past year,

A gift reminding you of your greatest gift,

Of what you are incredibly grateful for from the past year,

A crystal with your word and an amazing healing energy.

All these amazing things.

And you walk into the field,

Into that open field,

Leaving the forest,

Leaving the past year behind you.

And you realize,

Looking into that open field,

That the new year is open as well,

Filled with possibilities.

Anything can happen.

And it fills you with a feeling of eagerness to find out,

Gratitude maybe for all the good that is to come,

Feeling positive,

Feeling trust that this year there will be so many good things,

So many amazing moments,

So much magic.

And you continue walking into this new year,

Feeling grateful for the past and for what's to come.

And you keep walking into the new year.

And then it's time to slowly come back to the here and now.

So slowly start moving a little with your hands and your feet.

Be kind to yourself.

Don't rush it.

Maybe you'd like to stretch your whole body.

Feel what your body needs in this moment.

And honor that.

If you want to continue to just lie down for a moment with your eyes closed,

Then you do that.

If you want to move a little bit more,

Then you do that.

Trust your body.

And take your time to come back to the here and now.

And when you are ready,

You open your eyes.

But take all the time that you need.
