This track invites the listener to find soft body and breath prior to visualizing energy flow through their body in nature-based imagery, and then also leads the listener through a heart-centered visualization. There is no background music which allows the focus to remain with the imagination. As always, with Kirsten's tracks, it is slow-paced and narrated in her easy to listen to the Australian accent.

Welcome to this meditation by Kirsten Dochel.

This track is entitled My Healing Body.

It is one of the collection that I created following close personal experience with cancer diagnosis in a family member.

Begin this routine in a place of comfort,

Either lying or sitting.

Ensure you are very well supported and comfortable.

Take time to arrange pillows or blankets for your comfort.

Begin by noticing breath.

Observe your breath.

Gradually hold the intention that your out breath be a little longer than your in breath.

Just breathing at your comfortable rate.

Tune into how your breath feels today.

Sigh out your next breath and hear the release and the sound of the breath.

You may wish to count the breath to help extend the out breath.

Invite the expansion to your low and soft belly area if this is comfortable for you.

Do this for a few breaths.

You may even like to imagine that there are nostrils just below your belly button and you are breathing in and out through this area.

Then consciously shift to breath in to the chest area,

The heart space.

Sense this area from the inside out.

You may even notice your heart beat.

No rush as you sense into your body.

Drop the focus and let your body breath itself.

Thank you body.

Now to find a state of muscular relaxation scan your physical body.

Seek areas that feel tight or tense today.

And as you find them ask yourself what more can I let go of here.

Invite the muscles to release to drop into the support that you have provided.

Safe to let go.

Your body may like the words unwind,

Unclench,

Surrender,

Soften.

Go through your body now at your own pace.

I will give you a few minutes to scan and release from head to toes.

You may wish also to coordinate the breath out with the release of muscle tension.

Sinking further into the support.

You may wish also to coordinate the breath out with the release of muscle tension.

Going through that process you now have soft body and quiet breath.

Now imagine yourself standing somewhere in nature.

Somewhere where your feet are in contact with the earth.

Perhaps the mountains or bush area or a grassy field.

Your feet grounded on the earth.

And in this space here you see a beautiful tree.

Notice this tree is spotlighted by a beam of sunlight.

Approach the tree.

Either see yourself hugging the tree in your mind's eye.

Or even melting yourself into the tree.

Becoming one with the tree.

You sense a stream of energy that comes from the earth.

Nourishing,

Strong,

Flexible.

Tune into that earth energy surging up.

Up through your feet.

Rooted and stable.

As you and you as the tree reach up to beyond the sky.

Feel that strong earth energy flooding through your body.

Feeding every cell of your being.

And sense now from above the sunlight energy streaming down.

Feel the presence of the life giving gift of rain and moonshine that has come from above at other times.

Your being the recipient of all this nurturing and enlivening energy.

Open to allow.

Allow this energy to course through you.

Feel this life force energy surging through every part of your body.

Your veins,

Bones,

Connective tissue,

Lymph fluid,

Muscles and organs.

Flowing like the river of life energizing and clear.

Sunlight,

Moonlight,

Energy from above.

Earth energy from below.

Imagine a light rain begins to fall.

Soft and warm.

The droplets run together.

And they wash away any impurities.

Imagine this rainfall penetrates your body.

It's rinsing your cells clean.

Droplets of the warm rainfall sparkle in joy and love and light.

And you allow your body to open and accept.

You allow this healing cleansing energy to flood into every cell.

Be at peace as your body accepts this high energy flow of light and love and healing.

Nothing for you to do right now.

Simply allow and open to be in the flow of your imagination.

Impurities and waste vanish as they're exposed to this clear sparkling light and love.

They dissolve away to nothing.

Return to the images of the energy from below and above coursing through your body.

Sense now that these energy streams meet at your heart.

Consider your heart.

Sense and appreciate gently your tender heart.

Your beating heart,

Your wise heart.

Hugged by the lungs as the life force energy of breath flows in and out.

I invite you to accompany me now on another story.

See yourself now as a small child cradled within a lotus flower bud.

This bud now in your heart.

You as a small child held magically in a delicate flower.

You may wish to place your hands on your heart.

Invite in a sense of awe.

A sense of amazing wonder,

Beauty.

Glorious and expansive.

Can you love and nurture this child?

Feel opening in your heart space.

Expand and open as she or he grows in love.

The love you have for this being spreads like an expanding balloon in your heart space then overflows through your body.

Warmth and light absorbing to all parts of your body.

Such exquisite love you have for this small being.

For all that this being has experienced and done.

Love this person.

Take this version of you in your arms and allow love.

Accept that self love for you exactly as you are now.

Grow in but still yearning for love from yourself.

Allow this love from your heart to nourish this body.

Your now body.

Thank you body for doing the best you can.

Let the image of yourself in the lotus flower dissolve into your heart space.

Be held and nurtured in your heart.

Turn your thoughts to gratitude.

Thank you.

Thank you body that has taken me from small child to now.

Thank you.

I honour you.

For all that you have done and served with that acknowledgement through the years.

Thank you body.

I allow and receive love and light into my being.

See yourself as a shimmering light and allow that shimmering light around your physical body.

Feel as if you have been enveloped in a gossiper wrapping of love and safety.

Shielded and safe.

Let the images fade now and simply notice your body.

Drop once again into the support.

Unclench and loosen.

Nothing to do.

Simply allow.

Feel cared for and held by the universe.

Feel safe.

Feel your life force energy as breath as it moves through every cell.

Rest and absorb this delicious sense of being cocooned.

You may wish to cast a question or not.

Perhaps this illness is a time for you.

Maybe part of a beautiful transformation as a butterfly emerges transformed from its cocoon.

You may wish to ask what is here for me.

No need to push for an answer.

Simply allow it to arise in its own time.

Feel once again into your body.

Thank you body.

Take a cleansing breath and gently invite in some movement to your fingers and toes.

Enlarge and open out those movements.

Take a luxurious stretch and a yawn.

Or perhaps stay a moment or two longer or in your own time make your way back with gentleness into your day.

My love goes with you.
