Hello dearest ones and welcome to a meditation brought to you by The Forum.
Today we will be doing a meditation on forgiveness.
Releasing and letting go or starting the process of forgiving.
I would like you to do this meditation in a seated position.
So if you can find yourself a space that is safe and quiet that you can be with yourself in this time.
Make yourself comfortable and relax your body.
Releasing any tension that you have in your face.
Imagining if you will all the muscles in your face like an ice cube melting away.
We are going to take three deep loving breaths here through the nose and releasing that breath out of our mouths.
And inhale and release.
Inhale and let go.
And final breath in and exhale.
Adjusting your body to find what is most comfortable for you.
I invite you to visualize a golden cord from the base of your spine and this cord is digging into the earth,
Rooting you,
Anchoring you to the core of the earth.
From this cord emanates a golden healing light that streams upwards and creates an orb around your body.
Knowing that you are safe and you are protected in this globe,
Feel your body relax even deeper.
Melting into the surface that you are sitting on.
I invite you now to invite forgiveness into your heart center.
Feel this beautiful healing energy swirl around your core in your heart center.
Allow it to turn and swirl to fill your body.
Reaching the top of your head,
Down your arms,
Filling your tummy,
Your hips,
Your thighs,
Down to your toes.
Immerse yourself in this feeling.
Allow yourself to really feel the healing,
Forgiving flow.
Now picture a person where time,
Trauma,
It may even be yourself,
That you wish to forgive.
This is not an easy task,
So go slowly,
Gently with yourself.
Allow yourself being here in this space to feel.
Allow those feelings to rise,
To come up and focus on the healing swirl that is brimming from inside of you.
I ask you to really see the pain here,
To feel the trauma,
To reach for it.
Once you have it in your grasp,
Imagine all of the forgiveness that you are full to the brim with,
Enveloping,
Covering this,
Like you're rolling a paint roller through paint,
Covering every speck.
In your mind's eye,
Place this covered object now at the base of your spine and allow yourself to push this into the earth,
Where it follows the cord down into the core of the earth,
Dispersing all of this pain,
Hurt,
Trauma.
Mother Earth will deal with this now.
Now you'll feel an energy rising back up the cord and you will see as it comes to the top,
It feels different.
This energy shimmers.
It shines with love,
Happiness,
Joy and peace.
Let's take a breath here and release.
Repeat the phrase,
I am free.
I release you.
And so it is.
When you are ready,
Allow your body to bring its consciousness back to the room.
Feel your breath in and out.
Open your eyes when you are ready and be a little bit more gentle with yourself today.
