Mamas.
Welcome to this episode of the Meditation Mama podcast.
I'm Kelly and today I'll be leading you through your meditation practice.
So we are going to be focusing on opening our hearts,
Maybe feeling the feels and loving on baby.
So go ahead and just get comfortable,
Relax,
Unwind,
And just prepare for your meditation practice.
Just doing whatever you need,
Whatever feels good to get comfortable.
And then once you're comfortable,
Begin by checking in with yourself.
How are you doing?
How is mom doing?
How's your body doing?
Just do a quick little check in.
And anywhere that you're still holding on to tension or discomfort,
Just breathe it away.
Maybe taking a few big,
Deep,
Easy breaths,
Inhaling through the nose and sighing out through the mouth,
Really letting go of that tension or discomfort.
And then become aware of your physical body.
Become aware of your toes.
Feel all 10 of your toes and just let them soften and relax.
And move up to your feet and ankles and legs.
Just letting them go.
Letting them release.
Then tune into your hips and pelvis and glutes.
Just letting them become heavy and relaxed.
Tune into your abdomen.
Just relaxing the stomach and back,
Letting it go.
Then moving up the spine to the shoulders and shoulder blades,
Letting them release and relax.
And then the chest and rib cage and your arms and hands.
Just letting them all relax and becoming heavy.
And move up to your neck and throat,
Relaxing and softening here.
And then finally the face and head,
Letting go of squeezing at the brow and jaw and releasing all tension from the face.
Just feel your body relax and feel yourself just becoming softer and more at ease with each and every breath out.
And then bring your awareness to your heart center,
The center of love.
Feel that space.
And deep within your heart,
Ignite that feeling of unconditional love that you have for your baby or babies that are nestled in your belly and growing bigger by the day.
And then take that love and send it down to baby.
When you breathe in,
Feel the love move from your heart and go all the way down to baby.
Just letting it swirl around them and cocoon them.
Just wrapping them in your unconditional love.
Every single breath,
You send more and more love down to baby.
Just connect with them,
Send them your love and enjoy the quiet time you and your baby have together.
Just building that bond and connection while they rest and grow within you.
And now begin to say sweet things to your baby.
Tell them that you love them,
Maybe that you're excited to meet them.
Just continue to send them your love with each breath and just take a few moments to say sweet little things to your babe.
And now imagine the first moment that you'll hold that baby in your arms.
Just seconds after they've emerged,
And you've just delivered them and your healthy and happy baby or babies are placed on your chest.
See their face,
Look into their eyes.
Let the feeling of unconditional love from your heart spread to them and wrap around them like a swaddling blanket.
Just keeping them warm and cocooned in your unconditional mother's love.
And tell them how much you love them,
How grateful you are that they chose you to be his or her mom.
And just experience the magical moment where baby is finally in your arms and looking into your eyes for the first time.
And they get to see the face of the woman that has loved them and held them and grown them in their wounds for the last nine months.
And now return to this moment and return to baby that's still in your belly.
Feel them within you.
Maybe you can physically feel the kicks or maybe not.
You can take your hands and place them on your belly giving them a little hug or a little rub.
And allow the love from your heart to pour down into your womb and into your baby like a waterfall.
Building that connection and bond as the two of you share your one body.
Inhaling,
Sending the love down to them and exhaling,
Letting it move and swirl and cocoon them in your unconditional love.
You just relax,
Connect with baby,
Be still and send them your love.
You guys,
Keep going.
And now take a few final moments to connect with baby.
Tell them anything you would like to say before you move on from your meditation practice and continue on with your day.
And then when you're ready,
Take three deep cleansing breaths,
Breathing in through the nose and sighing out through the mouth.
Placing one hand on your belly and one in your heart,
Feeling the connection between you and your little one.
You can stay here for as long as you'd like.
Whenever you're ready,
You can blink the eyes open and continue on with your day.
