So let's begin by getting comfortable.

Maybe you're sitting up in bed,

Resting on the couch or settling into a comfy chair.

Adjust your body in whatever way feels best this morning.

Add pillows if you need them and do anything that feels good to you today.

And when you're ready,

Allow your eyes to close or soften your gaze.

Begin by bringing awareness to your breath.

There's no need to change it,

But just notice it.

Feel the natural flow of breath moving in and out of your body.

With each inhale,

Invite in nourishment and energy for the day ahead.

With every exhale,

Let go of anything that you don't need or want to carry this morning.

Feel the breath gently expand the belly,

Soften the chest,

And relax the shoulders.

Just take a moment to connect with your body.

That body that is carrying you through this season.

The body that's working quietly and constantly to help support your pregnancy.

And if it feels natural,

Bring a hand to your belly or to your heart or maybe both.

Just let yourself arrive fully in this moment.

Maybe take a moment to thank your body or say something kind to yourself.

And now we'll move on to our affirmations.

I'll say each one slowly and you can repeat them silently to yourself or out loud if that feels good.

I begin this day by caring for myself.

My body is supported,

Capable,

And doing its best.

I choose to move through today with patience and compassion.

I nourish myself in ways that feel good.

My body and baby are working together in harmony.

I trust the pace of this pregnancy and honor where I'm at today.

I am allowed to rest when I need to and pause when my body needs it.

I am learning to listen to my body and to respond with care.

I am worthy of support,

Softness,

And love.

My baby and I are safe,

Healthy,

And growing closer together every day.

And now take a big deep breath in through the nose and a long breath out of the mouth.

Pausing here for a moment and just noticing how your body feels.

And as you prepare to move on to the rest of your day,

Remind yourself that you can return to these words anytime.

You can listen while you're getting dressed or eating breakfast or anytime you just need a moment of grounding.

Taking one more last deep breath here.

And then when you're ready,

Open your eyes and remember that you and your baby are doing great.

That you're exactly where you should be together.
