Just inviting you to settle yourself in this beautiful Sunday afternoon.
Giving yourself a moment just to adjust your body,
Shake any of the day out.
And just begin to drop into the breath.
See if you can drop right down in the center of your breath.
And just relax.
Today's theme is around building that temple of light within.
Really recognizing your own light that you get to amplify into the world.
How you do that,
How you expand that.
And how you can be in the practice of coming back through that light.
The simplicity and ease of your breath.
So as you drop into the center of the breath now.
Really feel that breath expanding out from within.
Really witness it as it moves in and out of the body.
And see if you can just soften yourself into the breath.
I'm just going to start with the top of the head.
Just bring awareness to the space above the top of your head.
Just creating space as you begin to drop and sense the crown of the head.
As you breathe becoming aware of your temples.
Allowing a slight smile as you breathe.
Feeling muscles in your cheeks.
Releasing the jaw.
Gently letting go of and softening the muscles in the neck.
Coming aware of the space around and within your throat.
As you breathe,
Just feel a warmth moving through your throat.
Shifting the awareness down into the heart space.
Feel that glow and that warmth moving through the space where the heart sits.
Just to begin to experience gratitude.
Experiencing that center of connection.
Feeling a connection with the world around you.
And really returning to the connection within yourself.
As you flow that breath down through the chest,
Become aware of the space just underneath the sternum.
Feel that sense of direction and that awareness of self.
Really tuning into your own drive.
Your own ability to choose.
Flowing down and moving down to that creative center.
As you breathe,
Really feel the pelvic bowl with the flow of your breath.
Really allowing new ideas,
New inspired actions that are aligned to your purpose to begin to move through this area.
And then finally resting your awareness down the base of the spine.
Feeling yourself really centered and safe.
Really breathe into all needs are met.
Everything that I could possibly desire is here.
There is nowhere to go.
There is nowhere to be.
There is just here in this space and in this space I am supported.
I am held.
And I love.
And then gently just allowing the awareness to just shift and move down through the legs and down to the feet.
Really allowing everything to relax,
To soften,
To feel that connection to the earth.
As you breathe,
Really breathe into a sense of expansion.
Recognize each of these energy centers generating power from within.
Power to feel safe and supported.
The power to create the power to choose your own direction and feel really settled in that center.
The power to express and receive love,
To feel that connected sense of compassion.
The power to express yourself freely and easily.
The power to see within the mind's eye beyond the reality that you live in on a day to day basis.
And the power to expand into infinite possibilities,
Infinite creations,
Infinite ideas.
Continue to feel that you are tapping into that infinite space.
And then gently coming back to that solar plexus space and that beautiful temple of light within.
Placing your hands perhaps just over that space.
Feeling the warmth and the color of gold.
Really feel the direction that you are moving on any given day.
And as you breathe into this space,
Begin to ignite that light from within.
Become aware of something that is unique to you,
That you are expanding out into the world.
And just begin to feel that radiate and emanate all around you.
Standing into that golden afternoon light,
The golden chorus of birds that surround us.
And then find another word or phrase that sits and lives within that temple of light within.
That you are choosing to radiate and amplify out into the world around you.
And as you breathe,
Experience that expanding outness.
Using your breath to really amplify that space.
Feel how easy it is to move these lights out into the world.
Noticing the ripple effect that happens around you as you do so.
And the magic and the connection with your breath.
And find one more that's really key for this week.
It might be a word,
It might be a phrase,
Something that feels part of you,
An essence that lives deep within you.
And really step into this beautiful temple of light.
Feel yourself within this space.
Experience its beauty,
Experience its divinity.
Begin to breathe into this space.
Notice as you move around this space,
You can begin to light up the experience of this word or this phrase.
The frequency of this word or phrase.
And just as you breathe,
Notice it filling up the entire room,
The entire space.
And then experience that temple within lit up and centered.
This beautiful presence that gets to amplify out.
And that no matter what is happening on the outside world.
This continues to amplify and expand and radiate and move through your body as you breathe through each day.
As you move through your normal routine,
You begin to notice its effect on everything around you.
Notice its presence when you walk into a room.
You feel its energy when you wake up in the morning.
And you feel it nourishing you as you breathe yourself to sleep at night.
Continue to be in the practice throughout this week of tuning into this temple within.
Connecting with the frequency and the energy of this word or phrase and really living it into being all around you.
The outside chorus begins to still.
And that golden light begins to move behind the mountains.
Begin to settle your own body down for rest,
Perhaps slowing down your pace through the evening.
Taking time to wind down to sleep,
The intention of feeling deeply nourished in your sleep,
Waking up tomorrow,
Ready for the day and ready for the week.
