Embodied Visioning is the process of landing yourself in an experience of your ideal future. Connect with new possibilities and insights from within. Step beyond your analytical mind and any doubt so that you can immerse yourself in your ideal vision. This is your invitation to surrender to your own breath and experience new possibilities that you might not have experienced before. Take some time after this process to journal ideas and inspirations.

Future self meditation.

Take a moment to create a space where you can be here in your own breath in your own world for the next 10 minutes or so.

This is an invitation into creating your future self now.

This is an invitation into an experiential place,

A wisdom that moves beyond your conscious knowing to a place of deeper insight.

This is an opportunity to simply gather information,

Hints,

Insights,

Ways of being.

Breathe and give yourself full permission to land in your body,

Present with your breath now.

Drop right into the center of your breath and experience that breath moving and expanding out around you,

Embracing you more as you land.

More and more in your breath.

On each exhalation,

Feeling yourself anchor in more to this place of breathing,

To this place of being.

As you land in this place,

Feel the flow and the rhythm of your breath.

Move at a pace that feels good.

As you move the breath through the body,

Feel yourself sinking more and more into a relaxed state of being.

Letting go of any tension you may be holding in the body,

In the neck,

Shoulder,

Hands,

Fingertips,

All the way down to the soles of your feet.

Continuing to allow the breath to move and flow through your body in a pace that feels comfortable.

You find yourself in a room and your mind's eye.

You begin to look around this room.

This is the space between now and your future self.

You notice a door in front of you.

You may have a strong visual representation in your mind's eye of this door or you may simply have a felt presence of a door in front of you.

Notice this door and begin to become familiar with its detail,

Its colour,

Its texture.

Notice if it is big or small.

Notice its shape and this door takes you into an experience of your future.

This experience simply gives you insights and hints.

This is your inner world gifting you an opportunity to dream beyond what you might see now.

There is no right or wrong way to walk through this door and you can open it and step beyond the door in your own pace,

At your own time.

Give yourself space to simply be in the anticipation of what this future might present and you may stay for a few moments here to simply sit in this anticipation.

You may choose to open the door and step through to the other side.

This is whatever you choose to create,

An opportunity to play,

To dream big,

To see how much you can expand your vision.

And as you walk through this door,

Become aware of your surroundings,

Notice colours,

Whether you are inside or outside,

What you are surrounded by and how you walk through your life and just begin to explore this beautiful future.

Notice any people that appear and notice how you feel in this space.

Notice what is different in this future self,

What has changed,

What story have you let go of,

What challenges have you overcome,

What empowering beliefs have you taken on as your own.

Notice the relationships in your life,

How they are nourished and fulfilling.

Notice a feeling of liberation,

A feeling of comfort in your own skin,

An ability to be your most authentic self.

Notice the strength of the voice within you,

How easy it is to discern between an obligation and a choice and just breathe in your life.

Take this experience in.

Allow your body to feel this experience.

Notice physically areas of your body that feel lit up,

The ease in which you breathe,

The confidence that you embody and who you are in your life.

In a moment,

Begin to turn around in your mind's eye and look back at your past self.

Take a moment to honour your past self for everything that they have chosen so that they could land you here.

Look back with compassion,

With appreciation and with love.

Notice how important this is for your past self to receive.

Let them know that they have got this.

Share with them any insights that would be helpful.

Close your eyes,

Feeling the warm embrace of your future self.

Find yourself back in your own breath,

Centre of your breath,

Allowing it to flow in and out in its own natural rhythm.

Notice the steps that have occurred just from this experience.

Give yourself space to really land back in the here and now.

Perhaps wriggling your fingers and your toes,

Landing back with new knowledge in your body,

With clues and insights.

Give yourself some space now to simply write down a few things you've experienced about your future self.
