So find a place where you can sit comfortably with your feet on the ground and take your right hand and place it under the left armpit around the ribcage.
So you're wrapping around your own heart space,
Taking the left hand now and placing it just over your shoulder.
And just take a few breaths there,
Really breathing into that embrace.
And as you breathe there,
Feel how your nervous system begins to settle.
Really embracing that sense of connection.
Realizing the subtle shifts that occur the longer you stay here.
Just begin to visualize your breath moving through your back.
How does it feel to breathe life's support through your back?
To feel held by your own strength and by your own support.
And to breathe into that sense of connection.
And to breathe into that sense of connection.
Just begin to wriggle your toes here.
And as you breathe in,
Feel yourself sitting taller.
Stay in your breath and in your own embrace for as long as you feel the need to.
And you release,
Release gently.
