To prepare for this meditation,
It's recommended that you get a coin to hold in your hand.
And now,
As you have found that coin,
Raise your arm of that hand that is holding the coin so that your arm is outstretched at shoulder level and at a right angle to your body.
And now hold the very edge of the coin between your thumb and forefinger.
With your wrist flexed downward and your palm and fingers facing down.
And as you start to pay attention to your arm and your hand and the coin between your fingers,
I wonder how many details you can notice even more about that coin.
Or the shape of your hands and fingers as they hold that coin.
And you may notice tiny movements in your hand or arm or the coin.
And you may notice the coolness or the warmth of the coin against your fingertips.
And perhaps as you move your fingers along that coin,
You may notice what the edge of the coin feels like.
And maybe you may notice that it is more cool than the rest of the coin resting against your fingers.
And isn't it interesting how you can notice the differences between the edge of the coin and the surface of the coin and the differences between the front of the coin and the back of the coin.
Just focusing on that.
And you may notice that it comes in and out of focus.
And as the coin becomes in focus,
The things around are not as in focus.
And you may notice a halo around the coin as you blink.
And as you pay more attention to the weight of the coin,
You may begin to become aware of tingling sensations in your hands and notice your hand and arm lowering that weight down.
As the coin and your arm begin to feel heavier and heavier.
And you may begin to wonder when your fingers might release the coin.
Or which finger may be the first to let go.
And as you notice the coin beginning to slip,
Slide,
Waver,
Or drop as your arm gets heavier from holding all that weight.
And as your arm goes down,
You may notice that you can go down into a deeper state of relaxation.
And you can really look forward to dropping the coin because you know that when it drops,
The arm can relax in your lap or by your sides.
You can close your eyes and release all that strain and tension.
And every time you notice your arm lowering,
Your grip releasing,
You can silently say the word yes or thank you.
Noticing,
You'll get even more responsiveness.
That's right.
And you can feel the weight getting heavier and heavier and your arm begins to feel heavier and lower itself down looking forward to that comfort.
Noticing your fingers can relax,
First one finger then another,
Until they all relax,
They rip and let go.
And that's right.
As the coin drops,
You can close your eyes and let your arm rest in your lap or down by your side comfortably,
Releasing all the strain and tension.
Letting it draining right out of your arms and hands and legs and feet.
Letting it all just melt,
Melt,
Melt right into the floor.
Letting yourself drop down deeper and into a place of rest.
Releasing,
Relaxing and letting go.
Even dropping a coin into the deep blue ocean and making a wish.
Watching the coin drop deep,
Deep,
Deep down to the bottom of the ocean.
It is still so quiet and still and peaceful and beautiful.
There's so much life and energy there,
Down in the ocean,
With its colorful fish and gorgeous coral swirling and soft blue ripples and even buried treasures.
And I don't know what you would enjoy about this peaceful scene,
But I'll be quiet for a moment as you let yourself really drop in and enjoy this experience.
Letting it all just melt,
Melt,
Melt right into the floor.
And so if you haven't already,
This is a good time to make a wish for yourself in this place of both peace and energy Your mind is more responsive,
Then your wish can gain strength and absorbing more energy and send ripples out,
Out,
Out through the ocean attracting even more strength,
Even more energy The whole ocean and universe conspiring to make it happen for you To make it so And somewhere deep inside you feel it even more deeply too This awakening,
This quickening As more and more of the ideas and resources come to you You sense your wish can become a reality Seeing the possibilities and gaining deep clarity and understanding As you now realize how to make it happen Accessing both internal and external support So you can reshape your life Knowing if you are okay,
Others will be okay And seeing your desired outcome coming together in a way that is best for everyone involved And so knowing the love and energy are giving this wish will certainly make it expand And as it gains strength and energy,
It releases even more love and energy back into the world So it all comes full circle And in a moment I'll be counting down so that you may go even more deeply into relaxation and eventually sleep and bringing all that love and goodness and energy into your dreams And you may be surprised at just how rested and refreshed your body will feel in the morning Just by taking these few moments,
Doing this before you go to sleep And I'll give you another moment of silence to gather up whatever you want to bring with you from this experience into a deeper sleep So now as I'm counting down from 10 to 1,
You can gather all of those wonderful elements from your experience into your deeper sleep And with each number down,
You may find that you go even more easily and effortlessly into that soft melting sleep that is so necessary for you to heal 9 8 7,
