Hi and welcome to this guided sleep meditation for your deepest sleep.
And hoping that you can find a comfortable position lying down because using this before you go to sleep will help you have a deeper sleep.
And in that deeper sleep you can achieve more quality sleep.
And through the quality sleep you can experience a deeper healing.
So as you're lying in bed you may either keep your eyes open or closed.
It's your choice.
Whichever would be more comfortable to you because as you already know,
Comfort is so useful.
Be it physical comfort,
Mental,
Emotional comfort,
Perhaps even spiritual comfort.
All these types of comfort are very,
Very healing.
And through these you can sleep.
So as you're reclining in bed with your eyes either open or closed,
I invite you to focus on the sensations in your feet.
And I don't know which foot may be more comfortable than the other.
And whichever one is more comfortable.
I invite that foot to first release,
Relax,
And let go.
And by the other foot at whatever rate and speed that foot wants to go.
And inviting the relaxation into your lower legs and through your calves and your shins and through your ankles.
Inviting that area to slowly release and relax and let go.
Inviting now the wonderful deep relaxation in through your knees.
And inviting each knee to release at its own rate,
Its own speed.
Because that's where the body wisdom is and to honor that is to honor you.
And as comfort and relaxation move into each knee and as it does so it can release and relax and let go.
And now into the upper legs,
Into the thighs,
Into the quadriceps and the hamstrings and all those larger muscles and smaller muscles in the upper legs.
Inviting all of these muscles to relax and release at their own pace and in their own way.
And as they do so you may find that you're feeling more and more the sensation of deep relaxation and healing and releasing and letting go.
And moving this wonderful sensation of deep relaxation in through your hips and pelvis and in your lower back.
And inviting it to radiate upward,
Up towards your stomach and your low back and your mid back and your chest.
And all the organs and muscles and all of the vital parts of you in your core can finally release and relax.
And how this whole area too has longed for this.
And as this continues to relax more and more invite these wonderful sensations of deep relaxation and release into your chest and upper back and shoulders.
And how much do we all do carrying all the weight and the cares in that area.
And how that area welcomes the opportunity and the invitation to just release and relax and let go.
And down each arm allowing this relaxation and release to go down each arm at its own rate.
And I don't know which arm will release first.
And you can just invite it to release at whatever rate and speed each arm desires to go into that deep relaxation even more.
And moving this sensation up in through your neck and into your jaw and your face,
Your cheeks,
Your temples.
Into the bridge of your nose where so much concentration can be focused it can now finally relax.
And as it does you may notice that this sensation moves in through your forehead and over your scalp and beyond each temple to the back of your head.
Fully and completely.
And you may notice that you're so much more relaxed than when you began this journey.
This journey into your deepest healing sleep.
And I'd like for you to imagine a set of stairs.
A set of stairs descending.
And a very gradual descent.
And you're standing at the top of this gradually descending staircase.
And I don't know what this staircase is made of.
And you can know that it is solid and stable and will support you at every step on the way down to deeper relaxation,
Comfort,
Release.
And that beautiful stillness.
And so at the top of the stairs now we will slowly descend and with each number from 10 to 1 inviting you to become just 10% more relaxed.
10 9 8 7 6 5 Halfway there.
Halfway to your deepest,
Most beautiful release and stillness.
4 3 2 and 1.
All the way into the deepest relaxation,
Release,
Comfort.
Safety and stillness.
The quiet stillness.
Like that of a pond in the early morning.
As the mist slowly fades and the surface is like glass.
Those quiet moments.
And you have one now in your soul.
In your soul.
And I wonder what might be in that wonderful still pond of your soul.
That as you look into it,
You can see all the way to the bottom.
You can see the clarity.
You can see so much better.
Because things have settled.
And while you may not know exactly what the things might be.
You know that this stillness provides safety and clarity.
And through this safety and clarity you can experience a deeper sleep.
A deeper way of being.
And in this way of being you are being more true to your soul and to yourself.
And as you speak from this stillness with clarity and safety.
Your confidence in these things can increase more and more.
And your ability to maintain this stillness that is already inside of you.
That sometimes we think we need to go outside of ourselves.
To find this beautiful still pond of wisdom within.
And we don't.
We need to carry it with us everywhere we go.
And you can sleep even more deeply now.
In this stillness that resides within you.
This stillness that brings clarity and wisdom and confidence and strength.
And as you already know this is where your answer lies.
In the stillness.
I'm inviting you to go even more deeply into this stillness.
And you may notice it has a texture that is comforting.
Or it has a color that you may find soothing.
Or it may have a sound that is resonant with who you are.
The beautiful resonance of who you are in this space.
Relaxing in resonance.
And I just invite you to go into a deeper sleep even now.
In a way that is most useful for you.
With the riches of this clarity.
This stillness.
This calm.
And this peace as a way of being.
Drifting.
