Find a bit of joy, magnify it, and embrace it. Sense the change in your body, mood and balance. We go through a practice of dropping your expectations, dropping your judgments, and just being with our joy, however small or large it might feel today. See it with a color, absorb this, and find a way to bring it into your day. Blessings to you!

This meditation is intended to take whatever bit of joy that you can find and magnify it and we'll soak it up and marinate in that joy and send it out to all the areas of the body,

Sending it out to our neighborhood,

Sending it out to those in need around the world.

So breathing into this present moment,

Coming into sense of peace and gratitude.

When you're ready,

Close your eyes and allow everything around you,

Everything you've been thinking about,

Everything that needs to go.

Let it drop.

Feel that stress,

Feel that task,

Feel that to-do list,

Just drop.

Let it go.

Allow yourself to create some separation.

And coming into the breath.

If you're sitting up,

Just open the shoulders,

Open the chest as you breathe deep into the belly.

If you're lying down,

Just feel your chest spread.

Creating a feeling of spaciousness,

Giving room for the breath to deepen.

If any spare thoughts have crept back in,

Give them another pause to drop.

And now we come into a place where you can visualize.

Coming into a place where you can create,

Allowing your imagination with careful intention to just play a bit along the concept of joy.

Bring that into your space with a color.

Is it bright yellow?

Is it silvery,

Sparkly?

Is it red?

Just find a color that feels good to you.

Feeling into this moment,

Still dropping anything else that tries to take your focus.

Playing with the concept of this joy represented in a color.

Stay with the visualization.

Now give it a size.

Wherever it is now,

Just become aware of its size.

No judgment,

No expectation that it should be something that it's not.

Just admire it exactly as you've created it right now.

Now I invite you to try on the idea of shrinking yourself.

Allow your joy as it's appearing to you now to stay exactly as it is.

But shift your perspective.

Change yourself to become smaller.

Seeing this joy magnify in your view.

By reducing your vision,

By reducing your vantage point,

You allow it to grow,

Becoming larger than you.

How does that feel?

When your joy becomes larger than yourself,

How does that feel?

Allowing,

Feeling gratitude,

Acceptance,

Observing this new perspective.

Bringing your awareness to yourself in this moment.

Keeping the visualization of your joy,

Your magnified joy,

Bigger than yourself.

Bring your body into this space.

Allowing this joy to be present with your physical body.

What does that feel like for you?

Can you sense it in your feet?

Can you sense it in your fingers,

In your hands,

In the palms of your hands?

Can you feel your joy on your nose,

In your heart?

I invite you to bring it with intention into yourself.

A warm blanket of joy.

A safe umbrella of joy.

Swimming in a pool of joy.

Wherever this feeling has landed for you,

Soak it up.

Sit with it.

Absorb it.

Feel it coming into yourself through every pore,

Through your heart,

Filling up the back.

Feel it easing your worries.

Feel it ease the pain that was there before.

Let go of anything holding you back and replace it with this joy,

This color,

The feeling that you've created here today.

Fill yourself with joy.

Stay here as long as you like.

When you're ready to come back,

Come back slowly,

Sending peace and love to every part of your body.

If you can,

Find something that represents the color you chose today,

Whether it's a t-shirt,

Pair of socks,

Or a hat,

Or simply a towel that you used to dry the dishes.

Draw a picture in this color.

Bringing this feeling of joy into your everyday life.

Carry it through.

It's a simple idea.

Let it be easy.

And bring some movement to the fingers and the toes when you're ready.

Opening the eyes gently,

Coming back with gratitude for your practice,

For everything that you've accomplished these few minutes.

Namaste.
