Hello and welcome to this meditation for overcoming the overwhelm.
I myself have been feeling overwhelmed from time to time.
There's so much that I would like to get done,
So much that I would like to share,
And so much that life implies that I should get done.
So I wanted to take a few minutes to calm myself and reframe this feeling into a more positive light and to enable me to look at my to-do list a little bit differently.
For me,
It's most important to first calm my energy so that that hurried feeling or that anxiety is reduced before I even greet that to-do list again.
So we're going to get into a good frame of mind and talk through some affirmations or just statements that help to direct my thoughts when it comes to this to-do list.
I like to focus on what will make me feel my best because that will help me gravitate to the things on the list that are truly going to make me feel good when they're done.
And then I know that I am serving my highest purpose.
So let's get started with some deep breaths.
So we're going to take a few minutes to calm ourselves and reframe this feeling into a more positive light.
So some questions to ask yourself.
Where can I set my intention to get through the less joyous tasks to get to that sweet feeling of accomplishment?
How great does it feel to know I will soon be done with the tasks and can sit back and admire my efforts?
What are the things that I can get done in a reasonable amount of time that give me the greatest reward?
I feel so light after finishing the things that I decided were my highest priority.
There is more time later or tomorrow to pick up where I leave off.
I can always say no to the things on my list that do not absolutely have to get done if it feels right to do so.
I can tune in to how I feel to help me decide what really needs to be done right now.
I am capable of completing everything that is best for my next steps on this day,
In this month,
Or in this year.
I balance my time between each of my goals to achieve progress in many areas each day.
I can leave time in my schedule for fun and joy and personal growth activities.
I have everything I need right now within myself every day.
Namaste.
