Hello and welcome.

Close your eyes softly,

And take a gentle breath in.

Let the air fill your chest and belly,

And hold it here for just a second.

And then exhale slowly,

Like you're letting the day melt off of your shoulders.

I know things haven't gone quite as planned.

Maybe the flight is delayed.

Maybe traffic stopped.

Maybe the schedule unraveled again.

It's okay.

Everything's going to be okay.

Take another slow,

Steady breath in,

And let it out through your mouth,

Like releasing a long sigh of permission.

Permission to pause.

Permission to not have it all together right now.

When plans change,

The mind rushes in,

Trying to fix,

Control,

And predict.

That's its job.

But peace isn't found in the planning.

It's found right here,

In the breath you're taking now.

Feel the ground beneath you.

The chair,

The floor,

The steady earth.

Your body knows how to calm itself.

Your breath knows how to guide you home.

Each inhale collects tension.

Each exhale releases it into the space all around you.

Let your shoulders drop,

And let your jaw soften.

Let the muscles around your eyes rest.

You don't have to solve anything in this moment.

You just have to be.

Sometimes,

Delays protect you.

Sometimes,

Detours lead you.

Exactly where you're meant to go.

Sometimes,

Life's timing is better than your own.

Breathe into that truth,

Even if you can't see the reason now.

Trust that calm and clarity will rise like the sun once the storm passes.

Inhale,

Patience.

Exhale,

Control.

Inhale,

Trust.

Exhale,

Worry.

You are guided,

And you are held by something greater than your itinerary.

Take one more deep breath in,

Long and full.

And let it go completely,

Feeling lighter and softer,

And more at peace with what is.
