Good evening,
Beautiful.
Welcome to tonight's sleep meditation.
I'm really happy you're here with me.
There is a grove tucked away beyond the busyness of the mind,
A sacred,
Quiet place where the breath speaks in silence and the trees remember everything.
Let's go there now.
Let your breath come slowly,
Easily falling into its natural rhythm.
Let your limbs grow heavier,
Like stones sinking to the bottom of a river.
You are being called tonight by the whisper of the willows,
By the hush of the earth,
By the quiet power that lives beneath it all.
And so you begin to drift into a new space,
One beneath the mind,
Beneath the stories,
Beneath the day.
A soft path appears,
Winding gently through twilight,
Damp with dew,
Lit by soft fireflies.
You are barefoot.
The earth welcomes you beneath it,
Each step sinking into warm soil,
Each breath pulling you deeper into this new dimension of peace.
You arrive at the edge of the grove,
And there they are,
The willows,
Tall,
Gentle,
Ancient.
Their long branches drape downward,
Like curtains of moss and memory,
And the wind moves through them like a song,
Low and loving.
Enter the grove,
And let the soft canopy cover you.
Let the hush of the leaves muffle the noise you didn't know you were still carrying.
There's a soft nest of moss beneath one of the old trees.
Go lie down.
Let your body rest on this soft,
Living earth.
Feel the roots beneath you,
Not just the tree's roots,
But the roots of your own being.
With every breath,
You sink deeper,
Deeper into presence,
Into belonging,
Into the quiet knowing that you are a part of it all.
The willows begin to whisper with vibrations.
They sing a lullaby that only the body understands,
A lullaby that calms the nervous system,
Soothes the muscles,
And softens the breath.
Let their whispers wash through you.
Let them tell you it's okay to rest.
Let them carry away your tension,
Your thoughts,
Your resistance.
The earth is holding you,
And you are being carried into deep sleep.
The breath slows,
The thoughts dim,
Your body disappears,
And all that's left is the earth,
Of roots and leaves,
Of breath and earth,
Of you and everything.
Namaste,
Beautiful.
