Something like the quiet pulse of the earth beneath you.

In the distance,

You hear it,

A low hum rolling through the night,

The soft,

Familiar rhythm of a train approaching,

Its presence neither hurried nor loud,

Just a steady invitation,

A whispering promise of rest.

Step forward,

The platform is quiet,

Wrapped in the hush of midnight.

The doors open before you,

And you step inside,

Feeling the warmth of the cabin surrounding you,

The seats are deep and welcoming.

The air is soft and still,

As you settle in,

The train shifts beneath you,

And with a gentle lurch,

It begins to move.

Listen now,

The rhythmic clatter of the tracks beneath you,

The soothing hum of steel gliding over rails,

Outside the window,

This time the tension in your shoulders,

The tightness in your jaw,

They do not follow you forward,

They remain on the platform,

Waiting for nothing,

Disappearing into the night,

The train hums on,

Carrying you deeper,

Rocking you gently,

A cradle moving through the dark,

With each passing mile,

You become softer,

More fluid,

More at ease,

The final stop is near,

The cabin is weightless now,

The world outside fades into a quiet haze,

The train slows,

Drifting into a place where even sound surrenders,

The last doors open,

It's you who steps off,
