Good evening beautiful,
I'm so happy you're here with me tonight.
Close your eyes and just let go.
Ease into your bed until you find your most favorite position.
And when you do,
Come into your breath and let its rhythm sink you into comfort.
Settle in now and let the world grow soft around you.
Feel the day loosening from you as your body sinks deeper into the night.
Let your breath come slow,
Easy,
Like a leaf drifting down a stream.
There is nothing left to do but follow the lantern light.
You can see that a path begins to form beneath your feet,
A soft winding trail carpeted in moss and moonlit leaves.
In your hand,
A lantern glows gently,
Not too bright,
But warm like a memory,
A golden flicker guiding your steps into the trees.
All around you,
The forest gently hums with life,
While you gently hum with life.
Branches sway with the rhythm of your breath,
And above,
A canopy of stars watches in stillness.
You walk slowly,
Peacefully,
The lanterns swaying at your side,
Casting soft rings of light that stretch out like quiet ripples in the water.
And then,
The first firefly appears,
A spark floating,
Dancing just above the path.
So you pause,
And you watch its glow,
Then you see another,
And then another.
Soon,
The forest is filled with them,
Tiny lanterns of their own,
Blinking like thoughts fading into silence.
The fireflies swirl around you,
Their rhythm slow and steady,
Luring you deeper into the hollow.
You feel lighter here,
Unburdened,
As if the fireflies are carrying away all that clung too tightly to you.
They ask nothing from you,
Only that you are here,
Present.
You follow them into a clearing bathed in silver light,
The trees open to sky,
And the hollow stretches before you like a dream not yet forgotten.
The fireflies rise like embers,
And then fall like stars,
And there,
In the center of it all,
You sit,
Still holding your lantern,
Now dimmed into a quiet flicker as if to say,
There is nothing more you need to find,
So just be here.
Let the quiet fill you,
Let the stillness soothe you,
The fireflies continue their soft dance,
Entrancing your mind,
Your body,
And your spirit,
The trees whisper,
And your breath slows,
And you begin to drift into the hush,
Into the peace that lives between thoughts.
Float here a while,
With the lantern beside you,
And the stars above,
And the soft flicker of the fireflies carrying you into sleep.
Namaste,
Beautiful.
