I'm so thankful that you're here with me right now.
Some of the things that keep me up at night are often thinking about tomorrow,
Thinking about all the tasks I need to do,
All of the details that I need to coordinate.
So I'm especially excited to share this meditation with you because it allows us to not only clear our mind for the sake of yeasing into deep sleep,
But actually proactively think about the intentions we want to create for tomorrow.
So go ahead and close your eyes and let's begin.
As you lie here,
Soft and still,
Allow the day to drift away.
All that has been,
All that has happened can rest now,
Quietly dissolving into the night.
Feel your breath as it moves gently in.
And then as it releases,
Let go of any lingering tension in your body.
And then feel the muscles in your face soften.
Your shoulders fall.
Your legs grow heavy as they sink into the bed beneath you.
Now,
With your body relaxed,
Let your mind rest on the gentle rhythm of your breath.
Slow and steady,
It guides you into peace.
And in this quiet space,
We begin to set intentions for tomorrow.
Imagine a gentle stream before you.
Clear and flowing effortlessly.
This stream is your mind,
Your thoughts,
Your hopes for the day ahead.
Watch as each intention you desire floats like a leaf,
Softly carried on the current.
Breathe deeply and see one intention come into focus.
Perhaps it's an intention for patience,
Or for peace,
Love,
Or for clarity.
Whatever feels right for you,
Let it settle in your heart and trust that it will guide you when the sun rises.
Now,
See another intention appear,
Like a soft glow on the horizon of your mind.
Perhaps this is your intention for growth,
For expanding into the fullness of who you are.
You don't need to force it.
Just let it be.
Allow it to rise naturally,
Gently lighting your path for tomorrow.
Feel how easy it is to let these intentions live within you.
No need to grasp or hold tight.
They're here,
Already in motion,
Guiding you,
Supporting you,
Even as you sleep.
Now,
Take one more deep breath and release any need to control.
Let everything be as it is,
Knowing that your intentions are set and that they will unfold in their own time.
As you drift further into sleep,
Feel the peace of the present moment and the quiet certainty that tomorrow will bring exactly what you need.
