Good evening,
Beautiful.
Thank you so much for spending some of your time here with me tonight.
Go ahead and settle in,
Closing your eyes and allowing your body to melt.
Feel your pillow cradle your head,
Feel the tenderness of the sheets cover you,
And feel your heavy body sinking into your mattress.
Let all the noise of the day just slip away.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in,
And then exhale gently,
As if sighing into a dream.
Breathe in calm,
Breathe out tension.
Breathe in peace,
Breathe out the day.
Now,
See if you can imagine that you're stepping into a slender wooden boat,
Polished smooth by time.
It rocks gently on quiet waters,
Tethered at the edge of an enchanted canal.
The air is soft,
Cool against your cheeks,
And a lantern glows at the tip of the boat.
It's light,
Golden,
And warm,
Casting ripples of reflection that dance across the water.
You sit back,
And the boat begins to drift.
No paddles,
No sound,
Just the whisper of water lapping at the sides.
You are floating,
Guided gently forward with each breath.
The canal winds through,
A world unlike any other.
Vines bloom with soft blue flowers that shimmer like moonlight.
Trees bow overhead to form arches of silver leaves,
Their branches holding the secrets of the night.
Your breath follows the rhythm of the water's flow.
Inhale and exhale,
Swing softly with the current.
Tiny lights begin to appear,
Maybe fireflies,
Or maybe something else,
Hovering in the air like stars that have come down to visit.
They twirl and drift just above your head,
Lighting the way forward.
The boat carries you through the gardens of glowing lilies,
Past bridges woven with ivy and moss,
And beneath waterfalls so fine,
They fall like mist and kiss your skin.
Everything is quiet here,
Calm and peaceful.
You feel your chest loosen,
Your jaw release,
And your hands soften.
Even your thoughts begin to float,
Drifting like petals on the current of this enchanted night.
Further along the canal,
Soft music plays,
Perhaps a harp or wind chimes in the trees.
It feels familiar,
Like a lullaby you once knew by heart.
You close your eyes and let the rhythm rock you deeper,
Deeper into the stillness.
Deeper into sleep,
Held in the arms of the enchanted canals.
Namaste,
Beautiful.
