Welcome to your meditation today.
Please take a moment and get comfortable.
This meditation can be completed in a comfortable seated position,
Whether that be on the floor,
On a cushion,
On a chair,
Or your couch.
It can also be completed lying down,
If that is more comfortable for you.
Once you find yourself in a comfortable position,
Take three slow deep breaths down deep into your belly.
Allow yourself to arrive.
Allow your to-do list to be put on hold for just a few moments.
Remember during meditation it is completely normal for thoughts to come up,
Feelings,
Stories.
We are not trying to escape these things.
It's this part of the beautiful experience of being human.
What we are doing is just putting them on hold,
Seeing them,
Acknowledging them,
And then gently placing them to the side,
Trusting that they will be there when we are ready.
As you have taken a few deep breaths and you feel yourself landing here,
I want to invite you to imagine yourself in a field of lavender.
Imagine yourself in the middle of a field surrounded by these beautiful purple flowers,
Rose upon rose as far as the eye can see.
And imagine you're inhaling that beautiful scent of lavender.
It's peaceful,
Calming,
Grounding.
You are in the middle of this lavender field.
I want you to tap into your senses.
Hear the birds as they gently fly overhead.
Feel the warm sun on your skin kissing your skin.
Feel the gentle breeze as it moves your hair,
Floats across your face.
Smell the lavender.
Allow yourself to be present in this calm space.
You have nowhere to be.
You have nothing else to do.
Feel the earth supporting your body.
There's soft green grass underneath you,
Some dirt.
It's peaceful and you are safe.
And this beautiful lavender field is always here.
It's only ever one thought away.
And now I want you to turn up your sensations,
Turn up the feelings as if it's a dial on a stereo so that if you are feeling the warm sun on your skin,
Feel it even stronger.
Feeling the breeze feel it stronger.
Smelling the lavender.
It's getting more potent.
You're hearing the birds.
They get just a little bit louder.
You're aware of the grass and the earth underneath you.
Feel that support.
Know that you are connected to Mother Earth.
And allow any energy within your body that is no longer serving you.
Any frustration,
Negativity,
Anxiety,
Any feeling that is not serving your highest good.
Allow it to slowly drain out of your body and be absorbed by Mother Earth.
Invite this energy to go back to Source and invite fresh,
New,
Bright,
Positive energy to take its place.
Anytime you are in contact with the earth,
Whether physically or in a visualization,
You have the ability to invite this exchange of energy.
Invite anything that is no longer serving you to go and invite something new,
Bright,
And positive back into your life.
Now take one final moment and look around you in this lavender field.
See the beautiful purple flowers,
The blue sky,
That vibrant green grass.
And if it feels right,
Allow the corners of your mouth to just turn up into a slight smile.
Smile of gratitude and a smile of acknowledging that life is good.
You are supported.
You are calm.
You are at peace.
When you feel ready,
When this feels complete,
I want to invite you to come back to the present moment.
Wiggle your fingers,
Wiggle your toes.
Open your eyes.
