When the world feels overwhelming, like watching the currents of a wild river, this practice offers a grounding space to pause, observe and choose to safely step away from the edge. The intention is to support listeners to find their own inner anchor of calm to not be swept away, and feel empowered in their own self and release their day as they move into rest and sleep state.

Welcome,

Thank you for joining.

Your presence is ever so required in this time,

In this earth,

In this space.

There is a great sense of overwhelm,

Unpredictability,

Which is fostering a greater sense of fear,

Collective worry,

Concern.

Know that you're not alone,

But that collective pool of energy is drawing people into spaces,

Into places,

Into nervous system states.

So I ask you to pause,

To not go with the torrent that is drawing it into a space and place that is not for you.

For you get to choose.

What if you were on the shoreline of a fast moving current in a river,

And rather than the shoreline falling away from under your feet and being taken to a place you don't want swept away.

You can simply just step back.

You can witness the torrent.

You're not in it.

You're not struggling.

Just stepping back and observing.

Allow yourself to breathe that moment in.

It's a place of observation and pause and empowerment.

For you are not caught in something that you did not choose.

You are not exhausting yourself,

Fighting against the torrent.

You are just choosing to pause,

Step back,

Observe and make a choice from there.

But that is the greatest gift.

So what will you choose?

I know that the scope of your choices are limitless.

Perhaps in stepping back you can actually see the greater perspective and viewpoint of a path down.

Perhaps there are stairs.

I invite you to explore what this looks like for you.

For you are the adventurer and creator at the same time.

So this is a chance for you to write your own adventure,

Create your own story and weave your own magic and destiny and opportunities that are before you.

But first you must stop.

Take a step back from the edge and observe the wild torrents that are around us.

Choose to move in your own rhythm and flow.

The power is yours.
