We easily clutter our minds with heavy thoughts from a busy day. This practice offers space to be guided in letting the thoughts go, emptying out the mind, and coming back into a centering, calm space within the heart to the ground. There is scope to ground into the calm to carry into your day or to ease into sleep for the evening.

Thank you for joining me.

We begin by placing our hand on our heart and taking a few breaths.

There is nowhere you need to be,

There is nothing you need to do,

Except come back to yourself.

Breath,

Hand on your heart,

Come back to you.

Continue to breathe,

Feel the warmth of your hand on the skin of your chest.

Feel the rise and fall of your chest with each breath.

Feel the pumping of the heart,

The lifeblood,

The source of everything and allow all the heavy thoughts out of the mind to fall away.

Imagine a whirlwind blowing leaves,

All those thoughts as leaves away.

Continue to breathe as the leaves,

The thoughts empty out.

There is space,

An opportunity to move from the thinking mind,

From the head dropping down into your heart.

Imagine operating from your heart,

The space that knows,

That feels,

Almost instinctively guiding,

Guiding you with grace,

With compassion and ease.

Like those moments that come easily,

Without effort,

There's no forcing,

Simply is.

So let go any tension in the body,

Moments or times that you have had to figure things out,

Think things through,

If you're weighed down or overwhelmed,

Let them all blow out of your mind and come into your heart.

Again,

Feel the pressure of your hand against your chest,

You might feel the beating,

The pumping heart,

Most of all that expansive,

Quiet space of peace.

This peace is available to you at any moment.

I offer you some time to sit in this space,

Your heart space,

Or if you wish,

In your own time,

You can drum your fingers over your chest and gently flutter your eyes,

Holding and embodying that space,

Peace,

Calm.

Have a beautiful day.
