Thank you for joining me and welcome to this meditation.

The intention for this meditation is to unclutter that busy,

Loud,

Congested mind.

So to begin,

I encourage you to sit upright,

Perhaps leaning against a wall,

Close your eyes,

Three deep breaths in and out,

Breathe in and release,

One more time in and let go of the day.

I want you to now bring into your mind an image of you standing with your busy mind.

To give a perspective of how this might look,

Let's imagine you can't see past all this congestion.

Let's then zoom out and have a look,

This congestion is a bunch of balloons surrounding your head,

Maybe they're different colours,

Maybe they're bright,

Bubbly,

Maybe they're darker colours,

Maybe they're just one colour,

But there's so many balloons all around your head that you can't even see your head from this perspective.

We take a moment to observe that every one of those balloons have a string attached and they're all held by you,

In your hands.

You have the power to actually release these balloons,

Release this congestion and get some perspective and space.

I want to encourage you to gently release some of those balloons,

Maybe one goes at a time,

Maybe a whole bunch goes at once,

As they're releasing,

I want you to feel the space that this creates.

Imagine that each balloon is a thought or a feeling or an experience and you are able to let it go.

Perhaps a bunch of them was the stress from work today and as you let them go you watch them drift up and get caught by the wind far away.

Continue to keep letting each of these balloons go,

Thoughts that were ruminating in your mind,

Let those balloons go,

Watch them swirl away,

Release it all right now.

As you're releasing more and more of those thoughts that are balloons,

I hope you can start to see your face appear,

You're not lost in the overwhelm and congestion of the thoughts and emotions and experience,

You're becoming clearer and you can come back to yourself,

You can see yourself.

As it continues,

You can release as many balloons as quickly or as slowly as you wish,

They have just been let go and you look up and you see them going higher and higher,

Maybe they'll reach the sun,

Maybe it will just allow the sun to fall on your face in a way that you've not felt for some time.

Feel this expansive space,

Be proud of yourself,

You've released so much congestion,

Mental noise,

Emotions,

Release the last of the balloons,

As they lift up,

Feel your heart feel lighter,

Your mind calmer and you have the ability to look around,

See what's possible,

Understand what you want,

Feel spacious expansion you've created today,

Take a few deep breaths,

Clear out any residue and when you feel ready,

Wiggle your toes,

Wiggle your fingers and come back into the room.
