Welcome,
I invite you to get very comfortable.
You may sit or lie.
Take a big breath in,
Fill up with the wholesomeness of life and allow everything to go.
Several more times,
Breath in and perhaps sigh out,
Releasing the day.
Imagine bare feet on a dirt track.
You take some steps forward.
Trust that you are guided,
You are supported on this journey.
You are not alone.
I invite you to be open and curious.
It's an adventure.
As you continue to follow the path,
A warmth in the air,
Almost a slight humidity.
You glance around the ground below your feet.
You're walking a well-worn path.
You observe canopy of trees surrounding you.
Sunlight peering through trees.
The plants around you,
They appear tropical.
You continue walking,
Soaking it all in.
You're curious to understand where you might be,
Where you might be going.
You trust the process.
You continue walking for some time with the path in front of you,
The trees surrounding you,
Cocooning you.
You birds,
Some close by,
Some in the distance.
You soon come upon some stairs.
These feel ancient.
They are carved,
Placed very intentionally.
They are worn from centuries of weather.
And you slowly raise your foot and take the first step.
You look around and you realise there is quite a few stairs.
But that's okay.
You are strong in your body.
You are strong in yourself.
You are open to explore and committed to this path.
As you grow higher and taller,
There is greater perspective.
You continue to climb.
The tree line falls away.
The building becomes revealed.
This is an ancient temple.
So many people have walked this path before you,
Have climbed these stairs.
You stop for a moment as the sun hits you and you turn your back to the building and you look out.
You realise you've climbed many stairs.
You've come quite far on this journey.
And you take a moment to enjoy the view.
Look over the jungle.
And you smile to yourself at the awe and wonder to be a part of something so immense.
Turn back and you continue to climb.
At this moment you look up.
There's not too much further to climb.
Several more stairs.
Your body starts to feel warm,
Strong and you reach the top.
This is a flat platform with more building behind it that you come to rest.
You walk over to the edge and sit for a moment.
You breathe in what you've achieved starting from the unknown.
The trust.
Seeing this through.
As you look around the vast jungle below you.
The building that was built by hand.
Begin to realise how extraordinary we are.
You sit and you take this moment in fully.
Feel proud of yourself.
Start to realise there are other temples around you.
They too are hidden in the jungle.
They too are asking to be explored,
Understood,
Discovered.
You come to realise the view is beyond what we can see when we're in the dense jungle.
There is so much more to be discovered.
But for now you sit on a very high point that you've climbed very far for.
To just soak in the magnificent nature of this adventure.
