Do you find yourself replaying something you said or did, wishing you could go back and do it differently? Maybe you keep thinking I should have known better, I should have done more, or Why did I do that? This gentle meditation invites you to loosen the grip of self-blame and meet yourself with compassion instead of punishment. You don't have to deny what happened or pretend you made the perfect choice. You can take responsibility, learn from your experiences, and still offer kindness to the person you were when you made them. Together, we'll release the weight of “should have,” soften the inner critic, and remember that you are more than your mistakes or difficult moments. You are allowed to learn without shame. You are allowed to forgive yourself. You are allowed to begin again. A meditation for moments of regret, self-criticism, guilt, shame, or simply being harder on yourself than you would ever be on someone you love. Come exactly as you are.
