Welcome to this sleep meditation.
If you're someone who is feeling anxious or stressed about life,
This meditation is for you.
In this session,
We'll explore ways to calm your mind,
Release your worries,
And help you drift off into a peaceful sleep.
To begin,
Find a comfortable position in your bed.
Make sure you're lying down in a position that feels comfortable and relaxed.
Take a deep breath in,
Hold it for a few seconds,
And then exhale.
Take another deep breath in,
And imagine that you're inhaling peace and calm.
And as you exhale,
Imagine that you're releasing worries and stress.
Visualize yourself in a peaceful and tranquil place,
Maybe a quiet beach or a lush forest.
Picture yourself surrounded by nature,
Feeling the gentle breeze on your face.
Perhaps you're hearing the sound of the waves or birds singing.
Imagine that you're surrounded by a bright white light that radiates love,
Peace,
And well-being.
This light has healing in it.
As you breathe in,
Imagine that you're inhaling the bright white light,
Allowing it to fill every cell of your body with love and healing energy.
And on your exhale,
Imagine that you're releasing any negative energy or thoughts that might be weighing you down.
Allow yourself to feel lighter and more at peace with each breath.
If it feels comfortable for you,
You can repeat the following affirmation to yourself.
I am safe.
I am loved.
And everything is going to be okay.
I am safe.
I am loved.
And everything is going to be okay.
Believe in these words and let them sink into your subconscious mind.
Trust that the universe has a plan for you and that everything will fall into place at the right time.
Often,
When we feel like everything in our life is falling apart,
It can be difficult to trust that things will work out.
We may feel stuck,
Overwhelmed,
Or uncertain about the future.
But it's important to remember that we're not alone in these feelings.
Many people experience moments of doubt,
Of fear,
And of uncertainty.
One way to cope with these emotions is to focus on the present moment.
When we're caught up in the worry about the future or the regret of the past,
It can be so hard to see the goodness and the beauty that is around us right now.
But when we pause and we take a moment to breathe and be present,
We cultivate a sense of gratitude and appreciation in our lives.
So take a moment now to focus on your breath.
Let your breath bring you into the present moment.
Notice the rise and fall,
The sensation of the air moving in through your nose.
Take a deep breath in,
And imagine that you're filling your lungs with fresh,
Clean air.
As you exhale,
Imagine that you're releasing any tension or stress that you may be holding in your body.
Allow your mind to quiet down,
And just focus on your breath for a few moments.
As thoughts arise,
Simply acknowledge them,
Let them go.
Imagine that you're watching a stream,
And your thoughts are like leaves floating by.
Observe them,
But don't get caught up in them.
If you're feeling overwhelmed,
You may find it helpful to do a body scan.
Start at your feet,
Focus your attention on each part of your body,
One at a time.
Notice any sensations you may be feeling,
And observe them without judgment.
You can move up your ankles,
Your calves,
Continue to where your diaphragm is,
Your hips expansion with your breath.
Move up your body until you reach the crown of your head.
If you notice any areas of tension or discomfort,
Imagine that you're sending those places a wave of loving energy.
You can see those places,
The tension just melting away,
And feel your muscles relax and release.
Continuing to breathe deeply,
Relaxing,
Visualize a gentle waterfall washing away all your fears,
Your doubts,
Your worries,
Washing away.
Feel the cleansing power of water as it washes over you,
Leaving you feeling refreshed and renewed.
Now,
Imagine that you're standing in front of a beautiful garden.
The flowers are in full bloom,
The air is filled with the sweet scent of jasmine and roses.
As you walk through the garden,
You can feel the soft grass beneath your feet and the warm sun on your skin.
Take a moment in this garden to pause,
Admire the beauty around you,
Notice the vibrant colors of the flowers,
The sound of the birds chirping,
And the gentle breeze rustling the leaves.
You walk through this garden,
Imagine that each step you take brings you closer to peace and healing.
Imagine that with each step you release negative energy,
Negative emotion that you might still be carrying with you.
Now,
As you're walking,
You find yourself standing in front of a tree.
This tree is your anchor to the present moment.
See yourself placing your hands on the trunk of the tree and feel the strength and stability.
As you stand here,
Take a moment to reflect on all the blessings in your life,
Focus on the people and the experiences that bring you joy.
Imagine that you're sending gratitude and love out into the universe,
And you can feel this flow of positive energy coming back to you.
Now,
In this good space of strength,
Stability,
And peace and healing,
It's time to begin a sleep countdown.
Starting at 10,
Sinking deeper and deeper into relaxation with each number.

Your body feels heavy and relaxed,
Sinking deeper into your bed.
