Hello and welcome.
Welcome to a guided meditation for sorrow,
Release,
And grace.
You've entered a space where it is safe to feel,
To remember,
To grieve,
To soften into the parts of yourself that are still healing from all the time fear kept you small,
Silent,
Or waiting.
Let's begin with your breath.
Let it be easy.
No need to force anything.
Just a natural breath in and a slow exhale out.
Feel the weight of your body supported by the earth beneath you.
The earth does not rush your healing.
It simply holds you,
Right here,
Exactly as you are.
There are years you lost to fear,
Moments that slipped through your fingers,
Dreams you may have placed on shelves,
Words you may have swallowed,
And doors you didn't open.
Not because you were weak,
But because fear told you it wasn't safe.
Fear told you to wait,
To stay quiet,
To protect yourself at all cost.
And you did.
You survived.
But something inside you paid the price.
Let yourself feel that now.
Now,
To finally witness the sorrow.
Breathe.
Gently.
And let the grief rise.
Let it rise like a tide returning to shore.
You might feel it in your chest,
In your throat,
In your belly.
Wherever it lives,
Greet it tenderly.
There is no shame in grief.
There is sacredness in this sorrow.
It means that you are waking up to the truth of your worth,
To the vastness of all that was meant for you.
If you need to cry,
Cry.
If you need to feel anger,
Let it rumble out like a summer storm.
There is room here for all of it.
You might whisper softly to yourself,
I grieve the years fear took from me.
The years I did not know I was allowed to be free.
I grieve the years that fear took from me.
The years I did not know I was allowed to be free.
Let these words land where they need to.
Now breathe into your heart.
That strong,
Steady heart of yours.
The one that kept beating,
Even in silence,
Even in hiding.
The one that's still reaching for light.
You are not here to blame yourself.
You are here to set yourself free.
And so gently,
I invite you to say,
I forgive myself for what I did not know.
I release myself from the grip of regret.
I send love to the world.
To the younger version of me.
Who was only trying to survive.
Let that forgiveness move through you like a bomb.
Softening the sharp edges of the past.
You are allowed to release what no longer belongs to you.
And now,
A quiet moment of grace.
Imagine a warm light.
Soft,
Golden.
Gathering around you.
Filling in all the empty spaces.
Not rushing to fix anything.
Just offering presence.
Love.
Compassion.
Let this light remind you.
You are not broken.
You are becoming.
Even the lost years are part of your wholeness now.
And some part of you,
The most eternal part,
Was never lost at all.
You are still here.
You are whole.
You are worthy.
You are wise.
You are waiting for you to come home.
Yes,
Take a few more slow,
Nourishing breaths.
Feel the ground beneath you again.
Feel the life in your body.
The soft strength in your heart.
You are allowed to grieve.
You are allowed to be grateful.
You are allowed to release.
You are allowed to rise.
When you're ready,
Bring gentle movement to your fingers,
To your toes.
Roll your shoulders gently if that's comfortable for you.
Let your eyes open softly.
Or stay closed if that feels good right now.
You've just done something powerful.
You've met yourself in truth.
And you've made space for grace.
Thank you for being here.
You are deeply and beautifully healing.
