I'm Karen.
This is an approximately 20 minute guided sacral meditation.
So here we are in the pocket of your creativity,
The sacral chakra.
Shvadisthana,
The second primary chakra according to Hindu Tantrism.
This chakra is said to be blocked by fear,
Especially the fear of death.
Opening this chakra can boost creativity,
Manifested desire and confidence.
It can help you to tap into your inner sense of peace,
Positive mindset and help to boost your ability for self-healing.
Located just above the pubic bone and below the navel,
The sacral chakra governs how you respond emotionally to feelings of intimacy and pleasure.
You're more open to change,
Maintaining healthy boundaries and you can enjoy greater connection in relationships.
Imbalances in the sacral chakra may be experienced as difficulty expressing emotions or sharing in pleasure.
When the sacral chakra is imbalanced,
It can block emotions by restricting the flow of energy and this will diminish the experience of pleasure.
We may also experience illness,
Mood changes,
Challenges in relationships and so much more.
The ability to heal and balance the chakras takes time but with repeated practice,
It does have the potential for transformation.
I invite you to make yourself comfortable,
Either sitting or lying down in a position that allows your spine to be straight,
Creating the best flow of energy,
The best breath flow.
Close your eyes if you're comfortable to do so or let your eyes remain half open with a softened downward gaze.
Breathe naturally through your nose if possible.
Begin to notice your natural breath rhythms.
Allow yourself to settle gradually into stillness,
Keeping a light resting awareness on your breath,
Coming and going.
Notice the sensations as they arise.
Notice how the breath seems to travel down the length of your torso and as it moves in and out of your body,
Feeling the breath down the full length of your torso,
Finding pathways into your body.
Notice any subtle movements in your body as you take each breath in or let each breath move out.
As you breathe in,
The belly rises.
As you breathe out,
The belly falls.
Perhaps you're aware of the movement of your chest and back or the rise and fall of your collarbone.
Dial into the relationship of movement within your breath rhythm.
Is there a connection between your breath and your heartbeat?
Experience the length and depth of your breath in real time rather than narrating the experience.
Move into the experience and sense it from within.
Not trying to control or change your experience as it's unfolding,
Explore the feeling of breath,
The breath sensations as they arise naturally from the inside out.
Let your breath presence you into this moment right now.
Notice the shifting of energy suddenly moving within you.
Notice its power.
As the vibration rises,
Notice what's there for you right now.
Now,
Call to mind someone that easily brings the energy of love to you.
So think of someone that you have no confusion with with regards to experiencing an energetic connection of love.
Anyone that comes to mind.
And if this is problematic,
Maybe consider a pet that you've had or that you currently have.
Open yourself up to the experience of love in your heart and let that feeling move through your entire body.
Rest in the loving energy.
With each in-breath now,
Begin to visualize that you're drawing breath in and it carries the positive energetic light of love.
A beautiful glowing orange light full of warmth and kindness,
Full of love.
As you breathe in and out,
Let this energetic loving light begin to wrap itself around you.
Feel the lightness of brilliant positive energy.
Allow it to hold you in love,
In acceptance of exactly who you are in this moment.
Allow each breath to open up the spaces where you might feel any physical or emotional tension within your body.
Areas where you may be holding on to old stories,
Old hurts.
Make room now to fill up more fully with love.
And as you breathe out,
Breathe out any of those tensions,
Giving more space.
Breathe in love.
Breathe out the hurt of doubt.
Breathe in peace.
Breathe out negativity.
Breathe in trust.
Breathe out that grasping,
Clawing energy of fear.
Continue this process of breathing in positive energy and releasing harmful energy.
Invite yourself into the entire,
The whole experience of total relaxation.
With each out breath,
Allow yourself to experience the sensation of letting go.
Soften into relaxation.
And now,
Breathe in deeply and follow your breath all the way down,
All the way down to the very bottom of your belly,
Below your navel.
As you breathe in,
The belly swells.
The diaphragm gently presses down,
Presses down into your sacral chakra where there already exists a beautiful orange light.
Imagine that with each in breath,
The splendid light within you grows more splendid and vibrant.
Keep building on that.
Let the light that you're drawing in build and expand,
Pulsing with greater vibrancy and energy with the light that already exists inside of you.
Allow it to fill you with a powerful yet relaxing energy,
An energy of knowing that you are loved and able to love completely and wholly.
This vibrant,
Vibrating light fills you completely,
Warming and relaxing your whole being.
Breathe into it.
Build it.
Expand it.
Let this building energy grow stronger and stronger.
Allow it to fill you up with its brilliant orange light.
This vibrating,
Powerful light of love has the ability to move through your whole body.
Let it create balance simply by moving your internal focus.
Allow it to heal you completely by shifting its powerful energy with your attention to wherever it's needed.
Allow this light to become bigger,
Bolder,
Brighter.
Watch it expand.
Experience it as it expands and spreads throughout your entire body,
Building and growing stronger and more powerful.
Draw this light through the center line of your body from the very base of your spine,
The root chakra,
All the way up to the top of your head,
The crown chakra.
Let the light energy swell and expand outside of your body as well,
Connecting your energy to all that is around you,
Connecting to the energy of the earth and all beings,
Connecting to the universe,
The collective energy of the universe,
The cosmos.
The power of this light energy grounds you.
This powerful light energy creates a sense of equanimity,
So radiant and strong,
Expanding,
It connects you to all.
Keep your focus on this light.
Stay in the present moment,
The now.
Rest here for a moment,
Experiencing this light energy.
Let it be fully absorbed into your bones,
Into your very being.
Begin to focus your attention now on the area of the sacral chakra,
Again located below the navel and above the pubic bone.
Visualize the center of this orange light source.
Draw your attention into the center of the sacral chakra,
This chakra,
The sacral chakra,
The expression of intimacy,
Pleasure and passion.
When blocked,
There may be a sense of instability,
Lack of boundaries,
Emotional imbalances.
What do you notice here?
Are there imbalances in your emotional life?
Are you able to establish healthy boundaries?
Do you truly feel stable in the place you are in your life right now?
Is the energy flowing easily with a sense of balance emotionally?
Can you embrace change?
Do you allow yourself to experience pleasure?
Breathe into the radiant orange light of the sacral chakra.
Imagine a beautiful glowing orb,
A bundle of energy here.
See how easily this beautiful orb of orange light,
This energy turns so easily,
So freely.
It's vibrant energy growing brightly.
Let the warmth of the orange chakra bring ease into your body.
Allow it to melt away any tension.
With your attention now focused intently on the sacral chakra,
Use your breath to turn the orange orb of light.
As it spins faster and faster,
The congestion is loosening its grip and it's falling away.
Exhale and let go any congestion there.
Let it go.
Your body's energy flows effortlessly and freely.
Allow your entire body to feel the flow of energy in the sacral chakra.
In this space of your body resides your feelings of intimacy and pleasure.
Stay with the visualization of the spinning orb.
Rest here in its glowing orange energy for a few more moments.
And if you find your mind wandering,
Guide yourself back into the visualization using your breath.
Your breath is the gateway in.
Is the energy turning more slowly?
If so,
Breathe into it.
Bring the energy of breath into the sacral chakra.
Breathe deeply down the length of your spinal column.
Come into the center of your being.
Send your breath and warmth to wherever it's needed.
And keep using your breath and your focus to clear out any congestion in the sacral chakra.
As you exhale,
Wring out the doubt,
The hurt,
The imbalance.
Detoxify this space and nourish it with your breath.
You have the power to bring it back into balance.
Expand your focus now to include your physical body.
Breathe in again even more deeply.
Bring your awareness to your hands.
Invite your awareness to move into your hands by shifting or moving your energy to your hands.
Do you sense the energetic sensations in your hands?
In the palms of your hands,
Can you feel heat?
In the fingertips,
Do you feel vibration,
Buzzing,
Tingling?
Move this tingling energy through your whole body,
Reactivating each place,
Each part of you again.
Now,
From the soles of your feet,
Draw all the way up to the crown of your head.
And then let this brilliant energy rush right back down into your body like an orange wave of warmth filling you up to the brim.
Notice the muscles of your face around your eyes,
Your mouth,
Your cheeks.
Allow the warmth of this beautiful energy to curl up the corners of your mouth,
Allowing perhaps a little Mona Lisa smile.
Notice any remaining tension releasing its hold on you.
Let your whole body begin to smile,
A smile so brilliant and genuine,
A smile of pure joy.
Allow yourself to rest here for a few more moments,
Enjoying the space of love,
Of welcome and balance.
Begin to breathe in and out,
Drawing that energy all the way down and out to your toes,
To your fingertips,
Up to the crown of your head,
Using the breath to open you,
Using the breath to warm you.
Take two or three nice deep breaths in and out.
And then gently open your eyes.
