Kara Billingham is a Kripalu yoga instructor, teaching since 2006, studio owner, teacher trainer, and passionate about community, in all its forms. Laughter is a priority, in as many situations as possible! Her opinion. Being silly and goofy are essential to really being present and loving one another, fully! Again, her opinion! Students, who attend Kara’s classes, benefit from her deep knowledge of the body, its aches and pains, and how to help them, as a result of her longtime teaching and learning from experience and continued studies. The human body fascinates Kara, and it brings her great joy to help others feel their best, in their own earth-bound home. Aside from yoga on the mat, Kara has been involved in the education and advocacy for individuals with physical disabilities, since 1994. She continues to teach yoga, and help raise awareness and funds, for her local charity for this population. Kara resides in the Hamptons, NY, with her family.
