This mantra is one of my go-to's in my own tool belt for coming out of the fight or flight mode. I use it when my children are frustrating me, my husband is annoying me, and I feel myself getting tense. It lets our body know that we are okay brings us out of that reaction mode and allows us to respond instead. Oftentimes our initial reaction is from a triggered state that is from deep within.
