Hello my friend,
My name is Kalyani.
And I want to invite you into this sacred space of transformation.
Each mindful minutes practice is a soft landing.
A gentle re-orientation.
A way of remembering yourself.
In the midst of the busyness of everyday life.
Bringing peace to your mind and ease to your body.
As we regulate our nervous system in small,
Bite-sized practices.
Today's topic is finding your answer.
Please take a moment to invite your breath to just naturally begin to slow down.
As you allow your eyes to explore your room.
Noticing the different colors and textures Gaze over your right shoulder.
How far behind you can you see?
Noticing any furniture or wall hangings When you feel ready,
Slowly turn to look over your left shoulder.
Noticing any doors or windows.
Simply becoming aware of the space around you.
Then begin to explore the ceiling above you.
Feel it protecting you from the outside world.
Gaze down to the floor and feel the support beneath you.
Accepting that support.
There's no need to be the tower of strength holding up all those around you.
This is your time.
Please give yourself the gift of your total awareness for this short time we have together.
Now choose if you'd like to soften your gaze down,
Inviting your eyes to rest.
Or if you feel comfortable,
Allow your eyes to close gently.
Outer vision resting completely as we awaken our internal sight.
Eyes growing heavy.
Cheeks softening.
Take a moment to create space between the upper and lower teeth.
Feel the tongue releasing any tightness as you explore any lingering taste on your tongue.
Invite your ears to explore the space around you.
Moving from one sound to the next.
As you feel your ears hearing.
Then invite all of those sounds to fade into the background.
As you focus on hearing the breath moving in and out of your body.
Sense the weight of your clothes.
The caress of the air on your skin.
Feel it creating a warm and cozy embrace.
Invite your breath to settle even more.
Growing slow and steady.
And become curious about your breath.
Following each breath inward with your awareness,
Feel it in your nose.
All the way down to your belly.
Fully engaging with each and every breath.
Deeper.
As we drop below the analyzing mind.
Melting into the present moment with ease.
And trusting your body to maintain this steady.
Easy rhythm of breath This meditation is designed to assist you.
In making a clear decision.
In finding your answer.
No need to look any further.
The answer is within you.
We simply need to work together to uncover it.
As we drop below the expectations you have of yourself.
Be easy.
Releasing all self-judgment.
And coming fully present right here and right now.
The past is done and over.
No need to look back in judgment.
All of the decisions you made before brought you to this moment.
There were no mistakes.
No regrets.
That is all in the past.
Worrying over the past takes away your peace in the present moment.
So choose to let it go.
Now let's begin by consciously shifting our energy.
Imagine you can breathe directly in and out of your heart.
With every exhale we release the heaviness of indecision.
We let go of the weight of responsibility.
And the fear of choosing the wrong answer.
As we inhale,
Draw in confidence.
Draw in support.
Compassion.
And understanding.
Like a summer sun rising in your heart center.
A silent miracle as you feel warmth unfolding within.
Envision the horizon blushing with soft pastels.
Ribbons of amber and gold.
Radiating from your heart into the space around you.
Feel it wrapping you in a warm cocoon of comfort and ease.
As nature's canvas resets.
You feel the untying of knots of tension within.
The sunlight gently coaxing the sleepy landscape into a fresh,
Clean slate.
Begin to cultivate compassion towards yourself.
You did the best you could at the time.
Allow yourself to feel completely held and supported.
Wrapped in the warmth of understanding.
Now imagine yourself at a crossroads.
There is a fork in the road up ahead.
And you get to choose which way to go.
An opportunity to possibly try out a whole new path.
It's not uncommon for fear to rise up.
Anything new can be scary.
Sit with the fear for a moment.
Giving it your full attention.
Then begin to remember what Wayne Dyer explained about fear.
He called it false evidence appearing real.
So thank that fear for trying to protect you.
And take a moment here to get grounded once more.
Envision your feet growing roots.
See or feel those roots breaking through the ground.
And growing deep and wide.
In order to feel strong and steady.
We need roots that are deep and wide.
From this place of steadiness,
Ask yourself,
Do you really want to continue doing what you've been doing?
To continue having the same old thoughts.
Do you really want to continue the same old self-talk?
Allowing your worries and fears to keep you stuck.
Or are you ready for a change?
What is the cost of inaction?
Of staying where you are.
Allowing fear to have power over you.
And continue to play it safe.
What would the most confident version of you say to do?
If you can let go of the fear over how things would change,
If you could release the worry of how impossible things may seem right now.
And instead really stand in your power.
Imagine seeing yourself standing tall.
Wrapped in armor.
Fear cannot break through.
You are the lighthouse in the storm of indecision.
Let the waves of choice crash around you.
While you remain strong and steady.
Welcoming the challenge of change.
Where others see an impossible mountain.
You see a steep but thrilling climb.
A grand adventure.
Welcoming the familiar surge of adrenaline.
Not as panic.
But his absolute focused confidence and readiness.
You know what is best for you.
Allow your confidence to burn like a steady flame.
No matter how fiercely the wind of other people's opinions howls around you,
That flame never flickers.
Strong and steady,
You move forward.
You don't need to know all of the steps of how you will get there.
Your job is simply to decide if you are ready for change.
Once you choose your path.
Take a deep breath and commit to this answer.
Make a decision to tap into new possibilities.
To explore the unknown with childlike curiosity.
To stretch your horizons and be open to life.
Don't worry about how it will happen.
Just decide.
Then affirm,
I believe in myself.
And can do anything I put my mind to.
Feel into this statement.
How does your body respond to it?
I believe in myself.
And can do anything I put my mind to.
I believe fully in myself.
And can do absolutely anything I put my mind to.
Then come back to your breath.
Noticing the rise and fall of your easy breath once more.
Thank you so much for joining me today in this deep remembrance that all of your answers are within you.
This brief moment where we could uncover the essence of you.
Take your time,
And when you feel ready,
Simply blink your eyes open with a smile.
Ready to face the rest of your day?
With a full and confident heart.
If time allows,
Take a moment to jot down anything that came up for you through this practice.
Reflecting on why it's important to change.
And your intention behind making the change.
And know that you can come back to this practice over and over again.
Each time you need to make a decision.
To find an answer.
Each time you need to find greater clarity.
Greater focus and confidence.
Have a great day my friends.
