I invite you to close your eyes for today's practice.
Notice how the breath enters and exits the body.
Take a few moments to settle into being here in this practice.
Letting go of any thoughts and emotions and sinking into the experience of the breath.
Take a moment to notice how you're seated or lying down,
Adjusting your posture so that you're in a comfortable space to be present.
Notice what it takes for you to release any activities or actions.
Center yourself on the breath.
Now bring to mind a white glowing sphere outside your body.
This can be a warm light,
Soft white or yellow,
And through your eyelids,
Which are closed,
Allow the light from the sphere to gently penetrate,
Entering your body with the in-breath,
It's a warm,
Soft glow,
Now being internalized with the breath,
Relaxing the muscles of your face,
Softening any tension you might be holding in your forehead,
At the crown of your head,
Inviting this light to fill you from the inside.
Notice its soft glow entering the space of your jaw and your cheeks,
Relaxing the muscles of your mouth,
The entirety of your face,
Your head filled,
Full of energy,
Full of warmth.
Notice the experience of softening with the light energy that enters with each breath.
Now see the light enter your throat,
Relaxing the muscles along your neck,
Your shoulders,
This warm,
Liquid-like light that's entering with each breath,
Drawn from that external source,
But one that you can bring within.
As this light fills your neck and your shoulders,
Watch it drop into your chest,
Noticing the feeling of this warmth in your heart space.
Can you experience the softening?
What is your heart needing that this light,
That this energy can provide?
Now draw this light even further into your chest,
Coursing through your back,
Internal organs,
Your arms,
All glowing with this soft light.
An invitation to both release any tension that you're carrying and also accept the energy that is being offered.
Now draw this awareness even further down to your pelvis,
Lower back,
Inviting this light into your lower extremities,
Thighs,
Knees,
Calves,
All the way down to the soles of your feet.
Feeling the experience of this light energy from the inside of your body.
With your next breath,
See your body in its entirety filled with light,
Glowing,
Pulsating,
Warm light,
Such that the sphere that was external initially becomes a sphere that encompasses you.
And having this energy and light within you,
Take a moment to ask yourself,
What am I needing in this moment?
See if you can offer these thoughts to the light,
To this energy,
Inviting it to release you of your thoughts and any of the emotional tension or physical tension that you might be carrying.
And for the next few minutes,
Let's sit in silence with that light energy,
Merging into the awareness of it.
Now when you're ready,
Take a moment to dissolve this visualization,
Allowing yourself to rest in open awareness.
To close out our practice,
I'd like to bring some gratitude to mind.
So when you hear the bell,
As you take three more deep breaths,

Any generosity that you want to put out to others into this space.
