Hello my friends,
And welcome to today's meditation.
Where we are going to accept and embrace rest,
A very important aspect we often neglect in our life.
Come to a comfortable position.
And let your body settle.
Close your eyes.
Take a breath in through your nose,
Slow and steady.
And exhale fully.
Let it all go.
Again,
Inhale.
And release.
And once more,
Breathing in and out.
And let it go completely I want you to notice,
Just for a moment,
If there is any part of you that feels like you shouldn't be here right now.
Like there is a list somewhere you haven't finished.
Or like you need to justify taking this time.
If that feeling's there,
That's okay.
You're in the right place.
Many of us have been taught that our worth lives in what we produce.
That rest is a reward.
That stillness has to be earned.
That is a lie we were handed.
And today.
We put it down.
You are not a machine.
You are not your output.
And you do not have to earn the right to exist softly.
Take a breath in.
And as you exhale,
Receive these affirmations.
I give myself full permission to rest without guilt.
I do not have to finish the list to deserve peace.
My value is not measured by how much I produce.
I release the belief that busyness means worth.
Slowing down is not failure.
It's wisdom.
Breathe in.
.
.
And release.
I give myself full permission to be still without explanation.
Softness is not weakness.
It is how I come home to myself.
The most productive thing I can do right now is breathe.
Take a slow breath in.
And let it go.
I trust my body to know what it needs.
I am enough,
In motion and in stillness.
Let that settle.
Let your nervous system absorb it You don't have to do anything right now.
Just let it all be true.
When you're ready,
Take one full breath in.
And release it gently.
Start to bring awareness back to your body,
Your hands,
Your feet.
The surface beneath you.
And when you feel ready,
Open your eyes.
You didn't have to earn this.
You never did.
Thank you friends for practicing with me,
And I wish you all calm and comfort in your day.
