This meditation focuses on releasing tension from the body and surrendering to the present moment. Focusing on the breath to calm the mind is a great tool to help us release the tensions from the day. I hope this practice brings you ease and release to the rest of your day.

Welcome to today's practice dedicated to surrendering and letting go.

Let's start by finding a comfortable position either sitting or lying down.

Begin becoming aware of your body in space.

Allow yourself to move your body in ways that feel good to you.

Allow your muscles to relax and release any leftover tension from the day.

Roll your neck gently.

Maybe you reach your arms up over your head.

Maybe you do a few seated or lying spinal twists.

Whatever feels good to you at this moment.

Now slow the movement down and make your way to stillness.

Without changing anything,

Begin to observe your breath.

Is it shallow or deep?

Slow or fast?

Are you breathing into your chest or your stomach?

No need to judge or criticize it.

Start simply observing.

Still observing your breath,

Begin to deepen each inhale.

Slow the release of your exhale.

Simply becoming curious of the journey of the outbreath.

Feel the temperature of the air leaving your nose.

Feel your stomach deflating.

Then feel the breath effortlessly enter your body as you inhale.

With each new exhale,

Let go of all the stress from the day.

Release all tension from your body.

Release any lingering thoughts in your mind.

And surrender to this moment right now.

There is nowhere else for you to be but right here.

If thoughts enter your mind,

That's normal.

Simply let them go with each exhale and come back to focusing on the breath.

No need to judge your thoughts or be hard on yourself for getting distracted.

Label them as thoughts and come back to your breath.

Surrender to this moment.

Consider and accept yourself as you are right now.

Feel your breath calming you with each inhale and releasing tension with every exhale.

Now,

Taking in one deep inhale and releasing every bit of oxygen you can.

And do that one more time.

One big deep inhale.

And one big exhale.

And when you feel ready,

You can begin to open your eyes.

Thank you so much for joining me for today's meditation.

I wish you a wonderful and relaxing rest of your day or evening.

Namaste.

You
