My name is Jewel and this is a meditation on self-love.
In a comfy,
Quiet place where you can sit or lay down,
You won't be interrupted.
Allow your awareness to float to the breath.
Following the breath in and out of the body.
Slowing it down.
Allowing softness in the jaw,
The mouth.
Feeling gravity on the body as you invite the breath deeper into the body.
Allowing yourself this moment to arrive wherever you are.
Arriving into this space,
Into this body.
Feeling the breath in through the mouth and out through the mouth.
Breathing into any tensions you experience in the body,
Any contractions.
Creating space around it.
Releasing on the exhalation,
Breathing into any unwanted thoughts.
And releasing slowly with every exhalation so that softly with every breath you become more and more aware of that space that exists in between.
The space that you can create with your breath.
Feeling the sensations.
The rise and the fall of your chest,
Your belly.
The change of temperature,
The breath on the inhalation and the exhalation.
Breathing into all of the parts of the body that make contact with whatever you're lying or sitting on as if the breath could expand that surface area and the exhalation sinking even deeper into it.
Feeling gravity with every breath allowing yourself to become heavier and heavier.
Letting go of the pelvic floor,
The jaw.
Bringing soft breath and heaviness to the shoulders,
The thighs.
Allowing your eyes to settle,
To become heavy and let go.
On your next breath,
I want you to build a bubble around you.
A bubble of light,
Shimmering sparkling light that can be whatever color you want it to be.
A shimmering bubble that holds the space for you,
Holds the space of safety that allows in whatever you invite into that space.
Whatever wants release can pass through this shimmering light and be released out of this space.
This is a sacred space that is yours where you don't push yourself across any of your boundaries and where you allow yourself to be held.
You can fill this space with whatever it is that you need in this moment to feel safe.
As you invite what it is that you need into this bubble,
Allowing the color of this bubble to become stronger and stronger.
Breathing in and out and becoming aware of the sensations in your body as you build this bubble.
Breathing a little more deeply now into those sensations as you create this bubble of safety that is yours.
Seeing everything you see,
Hearing everything you hear and feeling everything you feel.
With that beautiful shimmering light around you,
I want you to think of a moment in your life where you felt an abundance of love,
Of self-love,
Where you truly felt like you,
Where you felt this connection and this flow where you could be yourself,
Show yourself.
You stood in your center,
Gave yourself exactly what you needed.
You were into you.
I want you to choose one moment where you felt that way.
If you don't have a strong moment,
That's okay.
Choose a moment where you are feeling some love for yourself.
I want you to float your awareness back into that moment to truly relive it,
Seeing everything you see,
Hearing everything you hear and feeling everything you feel.
Becoming aware of how it is that you're holding yourself and standing,
What your breathing is like,
The people or the environment around you,
The sounds that you hear,
How loud or quiet they are,
The colors,
Where the light is coming from.
Become aware of the sensations in your body of this feeling of self-love,
Where it lives inside of you and what it feels like,
This moment where you feel like you and you are allowing everything to flow.
Breathing into those sensations as you absorb this moment,
Feeling into the body on where it lives inside of you.
And using your breath deep in that sensation to intensify those sensations,
Taking deeper breaths without pausing.
Breathing in so that slowly you can begin to intensify those sensations,
Spreading them around,
Inviting them into the cells around that area of the body.
So that slowly with each and every breath,
You allow it to spread throughout the whole body,
Feeling it move and permeate each and every cell,
Flowing through your limbs,
Your fingertips,
Your toes,
Your face,
Feeling that love,
That centered love for you in the chest,
Feeling the heart space,
Feeling the wound in all of your organs,
The lungs,
The belly,
Allowing the self-love to flow up and down the spine,
Seeing everything you see,
Hearing everything you hear and feeling everything you feel,
Feeling yourself up,
Allowing yourself to feel the self-love.
And when you're all filled up,
Allowing it to wash over every cell of skin on your body,
As if you were covering yourself like body lotion or oil with this self-love,
Covering this physical boundary of your physical body with self-love,
Washing it over,
Feeling the sensations on all of your skin,
Breathing into that,
And allowing it to fill the bubble around you,
Mixing with that safety,
Observing what happens as it mixes with the light of the safety and the shimmering bubble,
As you allow it to expand to fill that space around you,
That energetic space around you,
Becoming one with that bubble of safety,
So that self-love and safety mix together.
The more self-love you feel inside of yourself,
The safer you feel,
The more safety you allow to listen to yourself and keep within your boundaries and what feels right for you,
The more self-love there is that you practice,
Seeing everything you see,
Hearing everything you hear,
And feeling everything you feel as you fill this space,
Breathing into the sensations in your body.
And if you want,
Placing your hands on where you feel it the most,
Breathing into the warmth of your hands,
Knowing that this self-love is already inside of you,
It is there for you whenever you need to access it,
Feeling those sensations,
Inviting those sensations,
Allowing those sensations,
And as you breathe,
Allowing yourself to whisper to yourself,
I deserve love.
I am love.
I am love.
I am open to love.
There is so much love inside of me.
There is so much love inside of me.
I deserve love.
I allow love.
I am love.
Slowly feeling gravity on the body,
An awakening movement,
However that feels right for your body,
Taking a few deeper breaths to come back slowly into this moment,
Giving yourself that self-love to say yes to whatever movement the body wants to express or whatever the body needs,
Awakening it,
Or if it wants stillness and to lie here or sit here,
That's perfect too.
Taking a few deep breaths for yourself,
Breathing into the sensations in the body and coming to the end of your experience and your journey,
Thanking yourself for taking this time for you.
