Close your eyes,
Become aware of your breath,
The gentle flow in and out of your body,
Letting go of the need to control or change or shift your breath,
Finding a place within to observe,
To feel how breath moves in and out,
Become aware of how the body moves with breath,
The shift of temperature,
And as you breathe,
Feel the surface that you are standing,
Sitting,
Or laying on.
As you exhale,
Allowing your body to soften into this surface,
And that on every inhalation,
Your breath draws you inward,
Turning your gaze inward and asking yourself,
Where is the stillness within?
Perhaps it comes as an image or sensation,
Contraction,
Numbness,
Thought.
Where is the stillness within?
Where do you notice it in your body?
What does stillness feel like?
When you feel you drift into images or thoughts or move outside of the body,
Gently inviting yourself back,
Letting go of the need to judge or do anything with what pulls you,
Easily coming back to your stillness,
No matter how small or hidden.
Where is your stillness?
Breathe.
Where does stillness live within you?
And as you begin to locate that stillness,
Breathe towards those sensations.
Perhaps the body wants to gently undulate,
Rock,
Or sway,
Softly and slowly.
If this feels right to you,
Allow the body.
Perhaps the body wants to find stillness through being perfectly still.
Feel what brings you there in this moment.
It may change or shift another day,
Time.
Allow yourself to feel stillness,
To invite yourself.
You can stay in this meditation for as long as feels right for you.
Every day,
Allowing yourself to be with your stillness a little bit longer,
To enjoy.
This is the end of this meditation.
