I feel like in each moment we have a choice of whether or not to communicate wisely or mindfully. The truth is, I don’t always make the right choice. But it’s on my mind to do it, which makes it possible when I remember to pay attention. Does it feel like an actual choice to be mindful these days? Or does it feel like there’s too much going on, or too little safety, to think about being mindful?
