Thanks everybody,
Good to see you.
Take good care,
Be safe out there.
Yeah,
So finding your posture for today,
Whatever will best support you in your practice,
However your body feels best supported,
And in coming to your chosen posture,
Upright,
Or laying back,
Or laying down,
Or walking,
Or standing,
Or driving,
In coming to your posture and just becoming aware of your posture,
Bring some goodness,
Bring some merit to your body,
Bring some kindness,
And some generosity,
And some wisdom to your body.
All right,
Take care of yourself just in this moment of settling in,
And then bring the attention to the breath,
Or if a different object is a better refuge for you,
Like sound,
Bring your attention there,
And just again with kindness and generosity,
Invite the attention,
Invite the mind to settle,
And in case there's a lot on the mind,
That's okay,
Just noticing,
Oh,
There's a lot on the mind today,
And then coming back to the breath,
Or to sound,
And again,
That very kind invitation to settle the attention on whichever refuge object is best for you,
And just cultivating this practice of goodness towards your body,
And to goodness towards the mind,
Even the most agitated mind,
And as you continue to invite the attention back,
Continue to pay attention,
Wander,
And come back,
As you do that with all this goodness,
This generosity,
This kindness.
You could drop in an inquiry of,
Yeah,
The attention may not get steadier,
But does the kindness increase?
Does it become a little bit easier each time to remember,
Oh yeah,
Come back with kindness,
And as you observe that,
See if on the next level,
The sort of Metta 1T level,
If there's gladness,
Just some gladness towards yourself for just being here,
And sitting quietly,
And attending to the breath,
To sound,
To this present moment.
Thanks,
Everybody.
Good to see you.
Take good care.
Be safe out there.
