Good evening.
My name is Jordana and I'm here to guide you into sleep tonight.
I'll share with you my nighttime ritual that supports me in wrapping up my day and my mind so that my body and my mind can rest.
If you're not already in bed,
Go ahead and make yourself comfortable there.
Adjust your pillows.
Do any moving around so that you can be really relaxed.
Feel your body.
You are totally supported.
And here you can feel that you're already beginning to naturally let go.
Take a deep breath in,
Fill up,
And then exhale out the mouth.
Take a deep breath in again,
And then let it go out the mouth.
So as you prepare for a deep restorative sleep,
We'll take a few moments to move into ritual.
We'll recognize a highlight from the day.
Asking yourself the question now,
What went really well today?
Scan through your day.
What's one thing that went really well today?
And perhaps you can recognize another thing that went really well today.
It could be a big achievement or even something seemingly small,
Like getting your workout in or sharing a smile with someone you didn't expect to meet.
Scan your day.
And now if there is something that could have gone better today,
Something that you'd like to make note of so that it can be different in the future,
How can a lesson from today make you better tomorrow?
Thank you.
And with this reflection,
Let's fill up with gratitude for today.
Breathe in and fill up.
Take a moment and hold this breath.
And then sigh it out.
Let go.
You can free your mind now from today.
Give yourself a smile.
It's time to take full stop on any busyness from today.
Anything that needs to be worked out,
Tomorrow will come.
But now,
This is the time for decompression,
For peaceful,
Quiet slumber.
Feel that any residual strain from the day is naturally releasing its hold.
And feel it dissolve away from the body.
Feel the support of the mattress and your pillow absorbing any of this tension or strain,
Any stress.
It's okay to totally let go.
It's okay to drift into sleep.
As your breath deepens,
Welcome in the serenity that your soul deserves.
Relax.
As if your body was cocooned in serenity,
Feel yourself held here.
Feel yourself becoming more and more peaceful.
No longer aware of anything in particular.
There's no need to be aware.
Allow your consciousness to melt.
Soften.
And feel the sweetness of the nectar that is rest.
Sweet dreams.
