Start by settling into a comfortable posture,

Feeling the first stirrings of morning around you.

Whether the Sun is just peeking over the horizon or the world is already buzzing with activity.

Welcome the day with an open heart and an open mind.

And I invite you to close your eyes.

If closing your eyes is comfortable,

Otherwise just soften your eyelids,

Soften your gaze,

And take a few moments to set your intentions for this meditation.

Ask yourself what energy and focus y'all want to bring into today.

Envision the qualities of vitality,

Clarity,

And determination filling your being.

Reflect briefly on your personal goals for the day.

What would you like to achieve?

How can the energy and focus you cultivate now support these goals?

Let this reflection further shape your intention for the meditation.

And now begin to deepen your breath,

Inhaling slowly through the nose and exhaling gently through the mouth.

With each breath,

Feel yourself becoming more present,

More anchored in the here and now.

Let the breath be your anchor,

Pulling you away from any lingering thoughts of yesterday or anticipations of tomorrow.

As you breathe,

Feel a sense of gratitude for each inhalation and each exhalation,

Recognizing your breath as a source of life and energy.

Allow this gratitude to add a layer of richness to your intention,

Amplifying the positive energy you are inviting in.

Bring a conscious awareness to this life-giving process,

Realizing the energy potential in each breath.

Visualize the oxygen you inhale flowing through your bloodstream,

Reaching every cell and infusing your body with vitality.

Feel the energizing effect of this breath as it revitalizes your muscles,

Your organs,

Your brain.

Gradually establish a rhythmic breathing pattern.

Inhale for a count of four,

Hold for a count of four,

Exhale for a count of four,

And pause again for four counts before your next inhalation.

This pattern helps to balance and harmonize your energy.
