Welcome,
Dear soul,
To this sacred space and time,
And as you settle into stillness,
Imagine a soft golden light descending from above,
Wrapping you in warmth and safety.
With each breath,
You arrive more fully in this moment,
The noise of the day fading like ripples upon a quiet lake.
Here you are held,
Here you are free to soften,
To release,
And to simply be.
So let's begin the journey in our grounded meditation for stillness,
Presence,
And returning to self.
Begin by finding a comfortable position.
Let your hands rest softly.
Close your eyes if it feels right.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in.
And as you exhale,
Feel your body begin to arrive.
Let your breath flow like a gentle tide,
In and out.
Each inhale draws you into your body.
Each exhale lets the noise fall away.
Now,
Imagine roots growing from the base of your spine,
Down through your legs,
Through the soles of your feet,
Spreading deep into the earth.
These roots move through soil,
Through stone,
Until they meet the steady heartbeat of the earth herself.
And she welcomes you,
Always.
Feel her strength rising through your roots,
Into your body.
She steadies you.
She holds you.
You belong.
With each breath,
Feel yourself anchored,
Present,
Whole,
And safe.
Repeat softly,
I am rooted.
I am steady.
And I am here.
Breathe into that spaciousness of that truth.
When you're ready,
Gently bring your awareness back to your room.
Wiggle your fingers.
Move your body.
And return to the now.
Grounded,
Calm,
And clear.
And until we meet again,
Dear souls,
Be gentle.
Oh,
So gentle with yourself.
