Let's start this practice by sitting in the chair with your feet touching the ground.
Feel the weight of your body dropping down towards the earth.
As you let go of your shoulders,
You let go of the weight.
You let go of all the heaviness,
All the old energies in your busy mind.
You drop it towards Mother Earth and you feel a sense of relief as you exhale,
Just letting go.
And you stay in this moment of stillness,
Just feeling the weight of your body,
Being aware of your body,
Of the sensations,
Connecting with your feet on the ground,
Giving support,
Knowing that you're always supported,
You always have a force that supports you to stand strong,
And also that supports when you need to rest and relax.
Begin to take a deep breath in through your nose,
Releasing through your mouth,
Trusting the flow of your breathing,
Trusting the pace of your breath,
Of the inhale and exhale,
Trusting that it's all well and perfect the way it has to be.
Now bring your awareness to your feet and visualize roots coming out of your feet,
Connecting you with the floor,
Connecting with Mother Earth,
And you feel connected with the energy of All That Is,
With the energy of Providership,
And you nurture your roots,
And you visualize them moving up to your legs,
All the way to your base chakra,
Nurturing,
Cleansing,
Renewing the energy in the base chakra,
Moving up to the sacral,
Up to the solar plexus,
And you may feel some sensations,
Some tingling,
Some emotions coming up and being released,
Just trust,
And now feel this energy moving up to your heart chakra,
Up to your throat,
Up to your third eye,
To your crown,
Projecting at the top of your head,
All the way up to the universe,
Connecting with the energy of All That Is.
Now that you feel grounded,
That you feel connected,
That you are one with love,
One with peace,
One with ease,
And that is not separation,
It's an intention for what you'd like to receive,
What you'd like to experience,
Trusting that it has already been given to you.
Now you slowly return to your body,
Taking a deep breath in,
And breathe out,
Feeling light and joy within your heart,
Feeling your mind at ease,
Feeling strong,
Feeling connected,
And carrying this energy throughout your day,
Carrying this energy to the places you go,
To the projects that you work on,
To your daily routine,
Giving thank you to yourself for being here,
Giving that love back to yourself,
Feeling nurtured,
Nourished,
And confident.
