Hey friends,
Welcome back to a JBACs meditation.
This meditation is a short visualization meditation.
Let's take the space to clear our minds from the world around us,
Tune into ourselves,
And be still.
Find a comfortable seat or space to lie down.
Settle yourself in,
Take your time.
We are in no rush.
We have all the time we need to calm our minds,
Slow down our movement,
And just be.
When you are ready,
If you have not already,
Let's close our eyes.
Let's take a deep inhale,
Filling your belly in a deep sigh exhale,
Releasing all the tension you may have inside of you.
In your position,
Whether lying or seated,
We will use this position to stay completely still.
Refrain from adjusting yourself,
From the scratching your nose or twitching a finger.
Focus on being absolutely still outside of your breath,
Moving your chest in your belly up and down,
Filling with air.
As you remain still,
Let's clear out any lasting thoughts that may be within.
Wash them away as if the ocean is coming up to the shores of your mind and sweeping them out into the ocean away from you.
Imagine this as many times as you need.
The waves come crashing down,
Soaking up your thoughts in the sand and sweeping them back out into the ocean.
As your mind is clear of thoughts,
We are now left with the ocean.
As we are still there in stillness,
Keeping your body movement free,
Listening to the sounds of the waves coming into the shores and moving back into the deep blue.
At any time,
If thoughts come to your mind,
Allow for the ocean to take them and hold them,
Where you can watch them from a distance,
But you are not holding onto these thoughts as we sometimes do.
As you are still,
As you are near the ocean in your mind's eye,
Turn your attention to your breath.
Inhale and exhale.
Inhale and exhale.
You are a vibrant life force.
You are a powerful being.
Inhale and exhale.
Inhale and exhale.
You are stillness.
You are calmness.
You are patience.
You are enoughness.
Inhale and exhale.
Inhale and exhale.
You are a vibrant life force.
You are a powerful being.
Inhale and exhale.
Inhale and exhale.
Take the next few moments to breathe with the ocean.
Inhale and exhale.
Continue on your own breath.
Your path in life is radiant.
It is vibrant.
It is abundant.
It is full of all that you need.
As you look into the ocean in your mind's eye,
Smile and thank it for spending this time with you.
You are now coming back into your stillness of your body and your mind.
Coming back to a rejuvenated you.
You may now wiggle your toes and flutter your eyes open and smile at your practice today.
