Anxiety is the mind’s way of trying to find grounding through thought and attempting to control the external environment. However, the mind is not designed to root or ground us, and so all it can do when it tries to is spin around and around, like the leaf of a tree in the wind. In this meditation, you will imagine you are that leaf, and you will find your way back to your center by reconnecting to the rest of your tree, and your rootedness into the earth.
