When things don’t go as planned, and/or the current situation isn’t how we think it should be, many of respond with resisting what is, blaming ourselves and/or others, trying to rewrite the past, or focusing on the future to fix our present. While the intention of these responses is to give us a sense of control when we feel helpless, in reality they only exacerbate our suffering and intensify our feelings of powerlessness. Hi,

This is Jenny Braav of Radiant Wellness Healing and these are affirmations for resistance to what is.

When things don't go as planned,

Or the current situation isn't how we think it should be,

Many of us respond with resisting what is,

Blaming ourselves or others,

Trying to rewrite the past,

Or focusing on the future to try to fix our present.

And while the intention of these responses is to give us a sense of control when we feel helpless,

In reality they only exacerbate our suffering and intensify our feelings of powerlessness.

So the following are affirmations to help embrace and start to shift the resistance.

And you can just let the words wash over you,

Or if you have a tapping practice,

Feel free to tap while you say the affirmations.

I give gratitude to my resistance coping strategies.

They helped me feel less helpless when I was young.

Now they are holding me back.

I'm learning that it's safe to let go.

I am healing the part of me that's terrified of the unknown.

Part of me is so ready for the upgrade.

I'm discovering that I am the creator of my life.

There is no growth without change.

I'm learning to let go of my need for control.

It is possible that it's safe to feel my feelings now.

I am healing my old fears.

I am opening to trust.

I am learning that I am supported.

I am enough.

I can do this.

I am doing this.

I'm aligning all parts of me.

I'm letting go of my small self.

I'm opening to what the universe has in store for me.

Collapse and disintegration are one small part of the cycle.

I am healing old family wounds.

It's okay to let go of people who don't value me.

I'm inviting in deep and authentic relationships.

I feel more relaxed,

Engaged,

And living.

I am easygoing and cheerful.

I feel known,

Bright,

Open.

I am learning I can handle anything that comes up.

It is safe for me to trust what is.

I'm discovering that everything is unfolding perfectly,

Even if I don't know it at the time.
