Hi,
This is Jenny Brav and this is a guided meditation to help with sleep.
I invite you to sit or lie comfortably.
Begin to take nice,
Slow,
Deep breaths.
With each in-breath,
Inviting in a sense of ease and relaxation to whatever extent feels accessible in this moment.
And with each out-breath,
Invite anything that's ready to release.
Anything from the day that doesn't serve you.
With each breath,
Feeling yourself dropping in more deeply into the moment,
Into your body.
Sensing a dial in your head connecting you to your cognitive brain.
And imagining that you're turning that dial as far down as feels comfortable.
Letting your brain know that it can take a well-deserved rest.
It's only job right now is to help you sleep.
And continuing to breathe.
Feeling all the places your breath touches as you inhale.
And all the places your breath touches as you exhale.
And sensing,
Feeling,
Imagining that you're in a place that feels very safe.
It could be in nature,
It could be someplace cozy.
With each breath,
Feeling yourself deep in,
In this place.
Letting go a little bit more.
Noticing any sounds,
Smells,
Colors.
Feeling your whole body slowing down,
Basking in this place.
Feeling a golden glow seep into the crown of your head,
Spreading through your neural pathways.
Spreading into the muscles of your face,
Relaxing them.
Feeling everything droop,
Getting really sleepy and tired.
Seeping into your neck,
Your torso.
All the way down your arms to the tips of your fingers.
Down your back.
Down your legs.
All the way to the tips of your toes.
Feeling each muscle and mind relax as you go deeper and deeper into relaxation.
Thank you for watching!
